INTRODUCTION:
Practical industrial process control system implemented in industry is digital based processing system. Algorithm is run in computer system, can be PLC, DCS or other controller system device. Mathematical formulas are used to implement control strategies. Mathematical tools are important to study and to know more about the process, the control and the system overall. This training is designed to give participants the knowledge and horizons on process control implemented in industry.

3. PID (Proportional Integral Derivative): algorithm on controller (most used)
a) Simple algorithm : single loop PID
b) Complex algorithm : variant multiple loop PID
1) Cascade
2) Feedforward
3) Ratio Control
4) Override Control

4. PID Tuning and methodes
a) Tuning principles
b) Cohen Coon Methode
c) Ziegler and Nichols Methode
