Pendahuluan
Kepemimpinan yang efektif adalah kepemimpinan yang sesuai dengan situasi. Tidak ada satu gaya kepemimpinan yang sesuai untuk segala situasi. Pelatihan ini akan membahas dan melatih peserta dalam hal kepemimpinan situasional sehingga dampak kepemimpinannya akan efektif dalam mencapai sasaran yang telah ditentukan. Pelatihan ini mengasah peserta dalam hal sikap dan kemampuan kepemimpinan situasional; kemampuan untuk menganalisis situasi, persoalan, dan keputusan yang berkaitan dengan kondisi anak buah; dan melaksanakan teknik berkomunikasi yang efektif sesuai dengan tingkat kematangan anakbuah. Selain itu peserta juga akan dilatih untuk mempunyai kemampuan untuk membangkitkan motivasi anakbuah serta ketrampilan untuk melakukan bimbingan kerja kepada anakbuah agar dapat mencapai sasaran dan standard kerja yang telah ditentukan.

Day 1
1: LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVENESS AND THE POWER OF INFLUENCE
·         Understanding of management and leadership;
·         Leader Power bases;
·         How to maximize power bases;
·         Power bases questionnaire
·         Exercise: Developing power bases to increase leadership effectiveness

2: LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVENESS AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
·         Analyzing and discussing the environmental factor that influence leadership;
·         Effectiveness: Leader; Follower; Boss; Associates; Organization; Job Demand; Time to make decision

3: LEADERSHIP BEHAVIORS AND SITUATIONAL LEADERSHIP
·         Task Behaviors;
·         Relationship Behaviors;
·         Identification of different combination of leadership attempts;
·         The concept of situational leadership
 
Day 2
4: HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE MATURITY LEVEL OF YOUR PEOPLE
·         What is maturity level?;
·         Identification of subordinates ability;
·         Identification of subordinate  willingness;
·         How to determine the appropriate leadership styles needed by
·         your people;
·         Maturity level questionnaire

5: HOW TO UNDERTAND MOTIVATION ASPECTS OF YOUT PEOPLE
·         What is motivation and human behavior?;
·         The concept and application of  Maslow’s theory and
·         maturity level;
·         The concept and application of  Herzberg’s theory and maturity level;
·         The concept and application of McClelland’s theory and maturity
·         level

CASE STUDIES ON INTERACTION BETWEEN LEADER AND FOLLOWER
This part will consist of discussion in 16 cases on how to diagnose maturity level of followers, determine if the leadership style used are appropriate or inappropriate, and how to develop the flexibility of using different leadership style according to the maturity level of followers.

MANAGEMENT GAMES
The game will shoe you how apply situational leadership in  different situations, and how to develop greater understanding of maturity levels and the use of appropriate leadership styles.

Day 3
6: HOW TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PERFORMANCE OF YOUR PEOPLE BY USING EFFECTIVE COACHING TECHNIQUES
Steps in developing people; Using constructive discipline or regressive cycle to stop slippage in performance; Maintain high level of productivity; The use of effective coaching techniques.

7: HOW TO IMPLEMENT SITUATIONAL LEADERSHIP IN JOB ENVIRONMENT SITUATION
·         Developing organizational performance;
·         Using the ACHIEVE model;
·         The four functions of performance management;
·         The application of situational leadership in the one minute management

8: CHARACTERISTICS OF YOUR LEADERSHIP STYLES
·         Feedback on your primary and secondary leadership styles;
·         How to determine your strengths and your developmental needs as a leader

9: ACTION PLAN FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
·         Guidance to develop your personal plan;
·         Guidance to develop managerial leadership effectiveness
