PENDAHULUAN:
Pada saat kontruksi jaringan pipa minyak dan gas akan melibatkan proses penyambungan pipa melalui proses pengelasan. Pada baja yang mengalami proses pengelasan akan terjadi perubahan struktur mikro dan butiran pada daerah lasan dan dan terpengaruh panas. Perubahan tersebut akan menurunkan ketahanan korosi baja dan menurunkan ketangguhannya serta  meningkatkan resiko kegagalan.  PWHT adalah bagian dari process heat treatment yang bertujuan untuk menghilangkan pengaruh negatif yang terbentuk setelah proses pengelasan selesai. Pada training singkat 3 hari Manajemen Post Weld Heat Treatment Teori, Standard Prosedur dan aplikasi, akan dijelaskan pengaruh negatif akibat proses pengelasan dan perbaikan sifat material dengan PWHT terutama untuk material baja.

TUJUAN TRAINING:

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Ir. Djoko Hadi Prajitno, MSME. was graduated from Mining Metallurgy Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and Material Engineering UNSW Australia. He is as expert in Metallurgy/materials engineer at Metallurgy Laboratory Pusat Teknologi Nuklir Bahan dan Radiometri (PTNBR) Badan tenaga nuklir nasional (BATAN) Bandung. He is also lecturer at University of Jenderal Achmad Yani Bandung and lecturer at ITENAS (Institut teknologi nasional) Bandung. In campus he teachs material engineering, corrosion, advanced material, coating and metallurgy. He has researched some topics related to his expertise such as

  1. Research and development metal alloy with zirconium matrix
  2. Research and development coating of metal alloy inconel with aluminate in collaboration with mining engineering ITB
  3. Production and development of compound alloy between nikel-aluminida metals in collaboration with mechanical engineering ITB
  4. Coating of nikel aluminida at inconel alloy with spray Coating in collaboation with mechanical engineering ITB
  5. Research on Coating
  6. Research for production of material for stater drive Hercules airoplane in collaboration with DISLITBANG TNI AU
  7. Welding research of dissimilar metal

He frequently teachs training class for participants from many Indonesian companies. he has experience and knowledge about materials and skill that can be beneficial for warehouse people. He is member or has experience at some organizations such as HFI, Indonesian Corrosion Association, LSP AKN, Indosian Petroleum Association, National America Corrosion Engineer . PENDAHULUAN
Pada rotary machinery dengan adanya beban dan umur akan cenderung mengalami kerusakan. Kerusakan tidak akan terjadi tiba-tiba melainkan dari sedikit demi sedikit dan akan ditandai dengan timbulnya getaran yang berlebihan. Getaran kadang-kadang perlu dibatasi tetapi dapat juga dikehendaki. Getaran yang dikehendaki misalnya untuk kebutuhan penumbuk tanah, pengayak, vibrator dan lain sebagainya, sedangkan getaran pada mesin secara umum perlu dicegah. Masalah-masalah umum yang dapat menimbulkan getaran pada mesin antara lain ketidakseimbangan elemen yang berputar, poros melentur, kerusakan roda gigi, kurang baiknya transmisi sabuk dan bantalan, momen punter bervariasi, kelonggaran ikatan, dan kurang baiknya pelumasan. Efek atau akibat kerusakan-kerusakan seperti disebutkan di atas antara lain meningkatnya beban pada bantalan sehingga menurunkan umur bantalan, meningkatnya beban pada mesin, meningkatnya tegangan pada komponen mesin yang disebabkan karena kelelahan, dan menimbulkan efek unbalance pada rotating parts dan percepatan dan perlambatan pada mesin. Untuk mencegah terjadinya kerusakan lebih jauh diperlukan monitoring atau inspeksi getaran secara rutin. Dari hasil pengukuran amplitudo, frekuensi, dan FFT akan dapat diketahui sumber terjadinya kerusakan. Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Analysis and Measuring of Vibration Machinery.

    Getaran paksa eksitasi harmonik, getaran paksa dengan ketidakseimbangan massa putar, getaran paksa pada tumpuan bergerak, dan getaran paksa dengan periode eksitasi
  4. Getaran derajat kebebasan dua (Vibration of two degree of freedom)
    Getaran derajat kebebasan dua tanpa dan dengan peredam, dan getaran torsi derajat kebebasan dua
  5. Getaran derajat kebebasan banyak (Vibration of multi degree ofreedom).

Pada masing-masing tingkatan hampir di dalam semua jenis industri sewaktu proses pembuatan produk berlangsung (baik tingkatan politik perusahaan, perancangan, pembuatan dan perakitan, dan tingkatan distribusi dan purnajual) dan antara berbagai tingkatan tersebut terjadi suatu proses komunikasi atau pertukaran informasi di antara departemen pabrik (alat, mesin, dan manusia). Dari berbagai bentuk media komunikasi yang digunakan salah satunya dianggap sebagai media komunikasi yang terpenting yaitu gambar teknik, baik yang dibuat secara manual dituliskan di kertas ataupun memanfaatkan media elektronik CAD (Computer Aided/Augmented/Automated Design). Gambar teknik haruslah jelas dan dimengerti oleh semua orang, baik oleh perancang produk, perancang proses produksi, operator-operator mesin, pengontrol kualitas selama proses produksi berlangsung, yang dituliskan dalam spesifikasi geometrik. Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi CAD Bidang Teknik Mesin (Computer Aided Drafting for Mechanical: AUTOCAD or CATIA).

INTRODUCTION :
With increasing demands to natural gas in Indonesia, sour gases are being tapped for utilization after purification. But, the natural gas that is transported to the fuel market must meet legal and safety requirements; it must be non-toxic, non-corrosive and safe to environment. For that reasons, gas conditioning or specifically gas treating is a very important step in gas processing scheme. H2S, and CO2, are removed to certain level through a gas sweetening process. There are many processes available. The amines (MEA, DEA, MDEA) are the most popular solutions and thus commonly used in many fields. This course is designed as an effective practical shortcut to understand the amine sweetening process and all features and problems encountered in amine plant operations for engineers, operators, technicians, and anyone who involve or responsible  in H2S and CO2 removal.

The course content and approach are designed to suit participants of different background and different position in the company. It will be delivered as a to-the-point explanation by a professional instructor, utilizing an easy-to-understand examples and illustrations, especially the actual findings in Indonesia.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES :

INTRODUCTION:
Risk-Based Inspection is a systematical process that identifies, assesses and map  industrial risks, which can compromise equipment integrity in both pressurized  equipment and structural elements. The high risk equipments are then managed by a  proper inspection interval, method and coverage. In the RBI philosophy, it is more cost- effective to allow some systems to fail as long as the consequences of the failure are  low, on the other hand, some systems may have such high consequences of failure  that failure is totally unacceptable, and therefore, these items should receive most  attention by using a proper inspection plan & practice. In this course API 581 and API  580 and other DNV and ABS guidelines and recommended practices, will be consulted.

Dr. Ahmad Taufik has much work experiences joining in some institution such as at Lloyd’s Register as Operation Manager, at PT. MMS, PT. Surveyor Indonesia and PT. AT Solusi as consultant and trainer. And at present Dr. Ahmad Taufik is an Asset Integrity Specialist for PT Pertamina PHE-ONWJ (formerly BP West Java, Indonesia). He has performed in depth study in integrity  research for pipeline, mechanical and pressurized system. He is member of ASM and ASME. He has wide interest including RBI, PIM, FTA, FMECA, RCA, RAM study and many other risk engineering areas. Beliau juga pernah memperdalam keilmuan di luar negeri seperti bidang Coal Energy , Argonne, Chicago, Ill., USA, bidang Combustion, Petc, Pittsburgh, Pa, USA dan Pinch Technology, Asian-Australia Energy Cooperation. Bidang spesialisasi Beliau adalah Boiler, Turbin Uap/Gas, Pompa, Kompresor, Konversi Energi dan analisis energy.. LATAR BELAKANG:
Boiler dalam bidang industri banyak dijumpai pemanfaatannya baik untuk pemanas, pengering, pengawet proses, maupun pembangkit energi. Boiler merupakan mesin konversi energi berfungsi mengubah energi kimia bahan bakar menjadi energi uap atau bejana tertutup dimana panas pembakaran dialirkan ke air sampai terbentuk air panas (uap). Air panas pada tekanan tertentu kemudian digunakan untuk mengalirkan panas ke suatu proses.

Dengan memperhatikan pemanfaatan boiler di industri, maka boiler harus selalu dijaga terjadinya penurunan fungsi secara serius hingga rusak, yang dapat mengakibatkan kerugian perusahaan. Kondisi ini tidak dapat dicapai bila tidak didukung tenaga teknis yang kompeten.

Untuk mendapatkan tenaga teknis yang kompeten, perlu adanya pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang prosedur, aspek yang fundamental dan teknis yang terkait dengan operasi dan pemeliharaan boiler. Kemampuan tersebut juga dapat membantu perusahaan mereduksi terjadinya down time dan dapat meningkatkan keuntungan baik dari segi produksi maupun dari umur mesin yang lebih panjang.

PENDAHULUAN:
A gas turbine extracts energy from a flow of hot gas produced by combustion of gas or fuel oil in a stream of compressed air. It has an upstream air compressor (radial or axial flow) mechanically coupled to a downstream turbine and a combustion chamber in between. “Gas turbine” may also refer to just the turbine element. Energy is released when compressed air is mixed with fuel and ignited in the combustor. The resulting gases are directed over the turbine’s blades, spinning the turbine, and mechanically powering the compressor. Finally, the gases are passed through a nozzle, generating additional thrust by accelerating the hot exhaust gases by expansion back to atmospheric pressure. Energy is extracted in the form of shaft power, compressed air and thrust, in any combination, and used to power aircraft, trains, ships, electrical generators, and even tanks. To support the sufficient production system, we need tough worker or increase the worker skill of operation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of gas turbine profession.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS TRAINING?:
Practitioner in the operator level, supervisor level or planner of machine maintenance technology at engineering industry, which at least senior high school or technical vocational school.

TRAINING OBJECTIVE :
1.    To able to know to operation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of gas turbine.

TRAINING MATERIAL OUTLINE :

  1. Overview of Gas Turbine Technology and Applications
    Simple cycle Gas Turbines; cycle considerations; applications; fuels and corrosion; emissions; combined cycle and cogeneration. Overview of Developments
    High temperature turbines, reheat turbines, close cycles, and other developments.
  2. Rotating Components and Matching
    Brief overview of compressor and turbine design; component characteristics and matching. Compressor surge and prevention.
  3. Vibration and Rotor Dynamics
    A review of vibration will include specific problems such as Blade Vibration and Shaft Critical Speeds. Case histories will link vibration with the fatigue failure of components. Rotor instability, in its various forms, will be discussed. Vibration spectrum analysis will be utilised for the solution of resonance, instability, and gear and blade problems. Campbell (Spoke) diagrams and Critical Speed maps will be derived and used for the solution of vibration and Rotor Dynamic problems. The design and performance of Squeeze-Film Damper Bearings for overcoming many of the problems associated with machine unbalance and critical speeds, will be covered.
  4. Combustors and Fuels
    A description of combustor types, chamber design, fuel atomisation, ignition and combustor arrangements will be presented. Also discussed will be the constraints imposed by fuels on the design and operation of the hardware. The wide spectrum of fuels, both gaseous and liquid, is examined. An overview of fuel treatment and additives will be made.
  5. Performance Analysis
    Basic thermodynamic aspects of stationary Gas Turbines. Design and off-design operation. Influence of site effects on typical performance maps. Variable geometry compressor and turbine status.
  6. Performance Analysis for Problem Detection
    The fundamental concepts of performance analysis as a tool for saving energy costs are discussed. Basic and applied thermodynamics will be reviewed for gas turbines. The use of performance data to pinpoint problem areas will be discussed. Diagnostics related to fouling, nozzle erosion, bowing surge, choke, etc. will be covered. Meaningful trending methods will also be discussed.
  7. Gas Path Analysis for Stationary Gas Turbines – Status
    Simulation of degraded Gas Turbines, derivation and application of fault coefficient matrix, fault trees and other techniques. Implications for component life and emissions.
  8. Gas Turbine Fouling
    The causes, effects and detection of fouling in axial compressors will be covered including aero thermodynamic effects, effects on surge margin, intake distortion and blading problems. Filtration and control techniques will be covered.
  9. Gas Turbine Repair
    The techniques of inspection and repair of gas turbines are described in detail, including NDT techniques, cleaning, plating, heat treatment, welding, etc.
  10. Maintenance
    Case histories of various types of failures and maintenance problems of onshore and offshore gas turbine compressor installations are discussed. Maintenance techniques using bore scope and spectrum analysis including acoustic monitoring are discussed. Techniques for checking and conducting repairs on impellers, diffusers, bearings, couplings, and foundation repair are emphasised.
  11. Special Considerations for CHP Gas Turbines
    This section will cover special considerations in design, operation and maintenance of turbines and associated equipment on Cogeneration Services. Several cases will be covered. Off design operation effects on HRSG, STTG Cycles and evaporate cooling will be covered.

PENDAHULUAN:
Turbin uap merupakan salah satu jenis penggerak mula yang banyak digunakan di dalam industri, antara lain sebagai penggerak mula generator listrik, pompa dan kompresor, serta industri proses. Hal yang menjadi pertimbangan dalam penggunaaan turbin uap yaitu sumber panas yang digunakan untuk menguapkan air bisa dari bahan bakar gas, cair, dan padat, efisiensi turbin uap lebih besar daripada turbin gas, dan perawatan yang mudah. Permasalahan yang muncul pada turbin uap adalah distribusi kecepatan dan distribusi tekanan disekitar nosel dan sudu gerak, penurunan entalpi yang terlalu besar yang mengakibatkan kecepatan tangensial pada ujung sudu pun akan menjadi sangat besar, dan material juga memegang peranan penting sebagai kendala atas kecepatan tangensial yang cukup tinggi. Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Operasi dan Perawatan Generator dan Turbin Uap.
