TRAINING INTRODUCTION:
Flow assurance refers to ensuring successful and economical flow of hydrocarbon stream from reservoir to the point of sale. Flow assurance involves effectively handling many solid deposits, such as, gas hydrates, asphaltene, wax, scale, and naphthenates. In addition, it covers network modeling and transient multiphase. Flow assurance is most critical task during deep water energy production because of the high pressures and low temperature (~4 degree Celsius) involved. The financial loss from production interruption or asset damage due to flow assurance mishap can be astronomical. What compounds the flow assurance task even further is that these solid deposits can interact with each other and can cause catastrophic blockage formation in pipelines and result in flow assurance failure.

Ir.Endra Joelianto, Ph.D. is an expert in control engineering and industrial automation. His outstanding research is: Hybrid Control Systems, Discrete Event Control Systems, Petri Nets Analysis and Application on PLC, Robust and Advanced PID Controller and its implementation on PLC, DCS, Fieldbus, Industrial automation and Advanced Control System Designs. He received first degree (Ir.) in Engineering Physics in 1990 from Department of Engineering Physics, ITB and Doctor of Philosofy (PhD.) in Control Engineering in 2001 from Department of Engineering, The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.  He is Head of Intelligent Control and Automation Laboratory and Coordinator of PLC Research Group for research and training, Engineering Physics Study Program and Instrumentation and Control Research Division, Institut Teknologi Bandung. He was Director of Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung.  He has attended several professional training on PLC, DCS and Instruments Callibration, such as: Yokogawa DCS, Bandung (2000), Implementation of Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 19-17025 and Basic Calibration, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Bandung (2001), Fieldbus Foundation Technology, Singapore (2002), Basic and Advanced PLC Telemecanique-TWIDO, Bandung (2003), Basic and Advanced PLC OMRON, Jakarta (2004), Cleaner Production Application in Industries (Bandung 2005), Effective Energy Systems for Sustainable Development (Thailand 2006), Programming and Networking PLC Mitsubishi (2006), InTouch Wonderware, Wonderware Historian and Information Server (Bandung, 2012). He also has hosted Workshop on Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2002) and (Bandung, 2003), Workshop on Application of PLC in Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2003), National Workshop on Instrumentation & Control (2011) and many professional trainings on PLC, DCS, SCADA, Human Machine Interface and Industrial Process Control and Automation in Bandung. He was the project leader of Department of National Education TPSDP Retooling Program Batch II on Industrial Automation using PLC (2004). TRAINING INTRODUCTION:
Reliability engineering and predictive maintenance have two major objectives: preventing catastrophic failure of critical plant production systems and avoiding deviations from acceptable performance levels that result in personal injury, environmental impact, capacity loss, or poor product quality. Unfortunately, these events will occur no matter how effective the reliability program. Therefore, a viable program must include a process for fully understanding and correcting the root causes that lead to events having an impact on plant performance. The course gives a logical approach to problem solution. The method can be used to accurately define deviations from acceptable performance levels, isolate the root causes of equipment failures, develop cost-effective corrective actions that prevent recurrence. This set is a practical, step-by-step guide for evaluating most recurring and serious incidents that may occur in a plant. The purpose of RCFA & FMEA is to resolve problems that affect plant performance. It should be an attempt to fix blame for the incident. The use of RCFA & FMEA should be carefully scrutinized before undertaking a full investigation because of the high cost associated with performing such an in depth analysis.

PENGANTAR PELATIHAN :
Banyak orang telah mendengar tentang Kyoto Protocol, namun masih banyak pelaku industri yang belum mengetahui adanya peluang pendanaan yang bisa di dapatkan dari negara maju untuk memperbaiki kinerja lingkungan di Indonesia melalui skema CDM.

CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) program merupakan salah satu cara yang bisa di tempuh oleh 55 negara maju untuk memenuhi kewajibannya dalam rangka menurunkan gas rumah kaca (GRK). Negara maju tersebut bisa bekerja sama dengan pelaku industri di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia melalui skema CDM. Apabila pelaku industri di Indonesia, bisa menurunkan gas rumah kaca (GRK) melalui skema CDM ini maka akan di hargai sekitar 5 – 50 USD setiap ton gas CO2 (equal) yang berhasil di turunkan.

Program menurunkan GHG green house gas bisa di lakukan dengan berbagai cara misalnya dengan program fuel switching (penggantian bahan bakar) dari bahan bakar dengan emisi gas buang yang tinggi menjadi lebih rendah, atau menggantikan bahan bakar dengan biomass. Program lain yaitu methane gas capture, mengambil dan memanfaatkan gas methane baik dengan teknologi anaerobic system atau dengan program flaring.

Negara Indonesia termasuk negara dengan jumlah program CDM yang masih sedikit di bandingkan dengan China dan India. Sehingga peluang menjalankan program ini masih besar sekali, tinggal bagaimana bisa mengolah kesempatan yang ada.

Training dikemas dengan menarik dengan menghadirkan nara sumber yang sudah berpengalaman dalam dunia industri, mempersiapkan PIN (project idea note) dan mempunyai relasi yang luas terhadap international CDM consultant.

INTRODUCTION :
The natural gas industry has recognized that dehydration is necessary to ensure smooth operation of gas transmission lines. Dehydration prevents the formation of gas hydrates and reduces corrosion. Unless gases are dehydrated, liquid water may condense in pipelines and accumulate at low points along the line, reducing its flow capacity. Therefore, the removal of the water that is associated with natural gases in vapor form is one critical step in gas processing scheme. Several methods have been developed to dehydrate gases on an industrial scale. The three major methods are: direct cooling, adsorption and absorption. Glycol and methanol injection, glycol dehydration contactor, and glycol regeneration are important issues in gas production operations.

PENGANTAR:
Walaupun kondisi mesin dapat diketahui dengan berbagai teknik analisis seperti: emisi, akustik, analisis pelumas, analisis partikel, pemantauan korosi, termografi, dan pemantauan performansi, namun analisis vibrasi merupakan kunci untuk melakukan predictive maintenance. Pada dasarnya, semua yang bergerak menghasilkan vibrasi. Mesin-mesin tertentu akan menghasilkan vibrasi yang khas, kondisi tertentu pada mesin akan menghasilkan jejak vibrasi yang khas pula. Analisis vibrasi sangat bermanfaat untuk perawatan mesin-mesin berputar, seperti: turbin uap dan gas, pompa, motor, kompresor, mesin kertas, rolling mill, mesin perkakas dan gearbox. Selain itu, analisis vibrasi juga digunakan untuk melakukan diagnosis kerusakan mesin. Bahkan teknik ini juga bisa digunakan untuk perwatan mesin-mesin reciprocating.

His education started at Engineering Physics, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB-1977), then at Diplome Universite in Energetique, Universite de Prepignan, France (1985), Magister Engineering in Instrumentation and Control (ITB) and Doctor (ITB). He has over 20 years of experience doing training, consulting work in instrumentation, measurement, safety and process control and Mr. Sutanto has trained many training/courses for many companies in Indonesia such as PT. INTRODUCTION, GOAL AND OBJECTIVES :
The training material subjects are covered: physical properties, phase equilibria and  vapour liquid equilibrium calculations, water-hydrocarbon systems, natural gas gathering and plant inlet separation, acid gas treating/sweetening, dew  point control and natural gas liquids recovery. The training is designed primarily for engineers and technologists involved in the design, operation, and optimization of gas processing facilities. This training is designed to familiarize technical professionals with the design and operation of propane refrigeration loops used in typical NGL recovery and/or dewpoint control facilities, with an emphasis on design, troubleshooting and performance optimization. A working knowledge of gas compression is required. The principles of natural gas liquids fractionation and cryogenic expander operation are also discussed, including LNG and LPG operations and power recovery from LNG import terminals.

  2. Acid Gas Treating and Sweetening

    • Natural Gas Dehydration with Glycols
    • Acid Gas Sweetening with Amines

Fractination and processing

  1. Principles of Distillation
  2. Vapour-Liquid Equilibrium

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Ir. Sudiharto, MT,  is alumnus from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) department of petroleum engineering. Ir. Sudiharto besides as instructor and researcher at Geothermal Laboratory ITB, he is also being as Production Engineer at LAPI ITB, Production & Reservoir Analist and  expert board (Dewan Pakar) at Forum Komunikasi Daerah Penghasil Migas, and joining in Community Development Team Dirjen Migas since 2003. Some projects have been handled by him such as policy analysis expert on oil and gas subsector, oil and gas production expert, and field economicity such as: projection study investation potency energy and mineral resources, implementation study national energy consumtion, study on field use of Brownfield in Indonesia, inventarization research of old well potential in regency of Muaro Jambi,  blueprint arrangement manpower on oil and gas subsector, development operation cost estimation system oil and gas: geological and geophysical stage, study of combustion flare gas at PERTAMINA DOH Jawa Bagian Barat, survey and development of GIS based datas for planning and distribution BBM  and transportation gas through pipe, study on planning of Indonesia – Asean pipeline system, etc. Ir.
