Pelatihan ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai scale yang terjadi pada lapangan minyak. Materi pelatihan akan dimulai dengan uraian tentang dasar-dasar kimia mengenai air dan scale yang akan menjadi basic pengetahuan pada materi training selanjutnya. Pembahasan mengenai oilfield scale akan dilakukan secara lengkap mulai dari bagaimana terbentuknya, jenis-jenisnya, masalah yang ditimbulkan hingga cara mencegahan, pengendalian dan penanggulangannya. Berbagai chemical yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah scale juga akan dibahas dalam pelatihan ini, baik yang berfungsi sebagai inhibitor maupun removal. Secara umum, setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, peserta diharapkan akan mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang scale pada oilfield secara menyeluruh dan dapat digunakan sebagai dasar pengetahuan untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah scale di lapangan.

Ir. In Jumanda Kasdadi, MT is graduated from Chemical Engineering Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB)and now he is lecturer at chemical engineering poltek ITB (Polban).  Ir. In Jumanda Kasdadi, MT has experienced to be instructors at industrial training more than 13 years, both either  inhouse training or public training. Trainings that delivered by him for many companies  such as for oil and gas, for mining, for manufacture and etc. held in some cities in Indonesia like Jakarta, Bandung, Batam and others.

Kursus ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang proses dan operasi yang terjadi pada pengolahan gas. Proses-proses yang berlangsung di instalasi pengolahan gas seperti gas sweetening, dehydration, fractionation, serta heat exchanger akan dibahas dalam pelatihan ini. Pelatihan akan diawali dengan pembahasan mengenai sifat dan karakteristik dari hydrocarbon sebagai komponen utama penyusun gas baik LNG maupun LPG, serta hubungan P-V-T dalam fasa gas. INSTRUKTUR TRAINING
Ir. A. M. Ulum A. Gani, M.Sc. ,who is graduated from Geofisika Tambang ITB Bandung, was born in Watan Soppeng, 18 December 1949, he is peneliti utama at Pusat Penelitian Geoteknologi Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI). 1990 – 1993 he was becoming head of Laboratorium Eksplorasi Mineral, Balitbang Mineral, Puslitbang Geoteknologi, Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI), and 1993-1997 he was becoming head of Laboratorium Pemanfaatan Bitumen, Puslitbang Geoteknologi –LIPI Bandung. He is lecturer at Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Mineral Indonesia (STTMI) Bandung since 1991-now and becoming head of department at Teknik Pertambangan, Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Mineral Indonesia (STTMI) Bandung. He has performed many seminars related to his expertise. Ir.A.M.Ulum A. Gani, M.Sc. has researched and published the results numerous number. At campus Sekolah Tinggi Teknolgi Mineral Indonesia (STTMI) Bandung he teachs for several subjects as follows Pengantar Teknologi Mineral, Bahan Galian Industri, Pembukaan Tambang bawah Tanah, Ventilasi Tambang, Seminar Tambang, and Kerja Praktek. INTRODUCTION :
Although the ultrasonic meter has already been patented in 1928, its accuracy was very poor due to insufficient electronic and signal processing technology at that time. Digital signal processing has rapidly developed over the past 30 years which is a result of the significant advances in digital computer technology and integrated-circuit fabrication. This rapid development on digital electronic has brought significant improvement on the accuracy of ultrasonic transit time gas flowmeter. This type of meter is commercially used for gas custody transfer application on 1994.

The American Gas Association (AGA) has issued a report on measurement of gas by multi-path ultrasonic meters. The report provides performance-based specifications and recommended practices for industrial use of ultrasonic metering.
In Indonesia, MIGAS approved the ultrasonic meter for custody transfer application in 1998. On January 30, 2001 the first multipath ultrasonic gas metering system in Indonesia was officially in operation as allocation meter at Anoa EGP project in West Natuna.

Unfortunately engineer/technicians in the field do not have enough knowledge and experienced about this kind of gas flowmeter. They need intensive training to know the basic theory and how the ultrasonic meter works. The Ultrasonic Gas Flow Meter Course will provide participants with comprehensive information on ultrasonic gas flowmeter technology. During this-5 days course the participants will receive information on wave theory, acoustic and ultrasonic waves, ultrasonic measurement system, various type of ultrasonic flowmeter, the principle operation of transit time ultrasonic gas flowmeter and its calibration. On the last day the participants will visit and carry out practical work at Ultrasonic Laboratory, Engineering Physics Department, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).

Ir.Endra Joelianto, Ph.D. is an expert in control engineering and industrial automation. His outstanding research is: Hybrid Control Systems, Discrete Event Control Systems, Petri Nets Analysis and Application on PLC, Robust and Advanced PID Controller and its implementation on PLC, DCS, Fieldbus, Industrial automation and Advanced Control System Designs. He received first degree (Ir.) in Engineering Physics in 1990 from Department of Engineering Physics, ITB and Doctor of Philosofy (PhD.) in Control Engineering in 2001 from Department of Engineering, The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.  He is Head of Intelligent Control and Automation Laboratory and Coordinator of PLC Research Group for research and training, Engineering Physics Study Program and Instrumentation and Control Research Division, Institut Teknologi Bandung. He was Director of Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung.  He has attended several professional training on PLC, DCS and Instruments Callibration, such as: Yokogawa DCS, Bandung (2000), Implementation of Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 19-17025 and Basic Calibration, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Bandung (2001), Fieldbus Foundation Technology, Singapore (2002), Basic and Advanced PLC Telemecanique-TWIDO, Bandung (2003), Basic and Advanced PLC OMRON, Jakarta (2004), Cleaner Production Application in Industries (Bandung 2005), Effective Energy Systems for Sustainable Development (Thailand 2006), Programming and Networking PLC Mitsubishi (2006), InTouch Wonderware, Wonderware Historian and Information Server (Bandung, 2012). He also has hosted Workshop on Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2002) and (Bandung, 2003), Workshop on Application of PLC in Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2003), National Workshop on Instrumentation & Control (2011) and many professional trainings on PLC, DCS, SCADA, Human Machine Interface and Industrial Process Control and Automation in Bandung. Dr. Ir. Endra Joelianto is an expert in control engineering. His outstanding research is: Hybrid Control Systems, Discrete Event Control Systems, Petri Nets Analysis and Application on PLC, Robust PID Controller, Advanced Process Control, Industrial Automation using PLC/DCS. He received first degree (Ir.) in Engineering Physics in 1990 from Department of Engineering Physics, ITB and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) in Control Engineering in 2001 from Department of Engineering,The Australian National University, Australia.

He is coordinator of Intelligent Control and Automation, and founder of PLC Research Group, Laboratorium Instrumentasi dan Kontrol (LINK), Departemen Teknik Fisika, Institut Teknologi Bandung. He was the founder and the director of Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung.  The Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center has cooperation with PT. Schneider Electric Indonesia, PT. OMRON Corporation Japan, Invensys WONDERWARE. He was the project leader for TPSDP Retooling Program Batch II-DIKNAS for Training Program on “INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION USING PLC” 2004 and Co-provider for the same retooling program Batch II on “INDUSTRIAL CONTROL AND AUTOMATION” by PT. Cahaya Sumirat, Bandung. In 2005, he leads the retooling project entitled PLC for Industrial Control and Automation at the Department of Engineering Physics, ITB

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Dr.Eng.Ir. Azis Trianto,M.Sc. dilahirkan di Pekalongan 1 Februari 1969, Posisi akademik beliau sekarang sebagai Assistant Professor pada departemen Teknik Kimia ITB. Beliau menamatkan Sarjana di Departemen Teknik Kimia ITB, Masternya dari Departemen Kimia Tokyo Institute of Technology Jepang, Doktor diambilnya dari deapartemen Teknik Kimia Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology Jepang, dan beliau juga sempat mengambil Post Doctoralnya di Japan society for promotion of science fellow, Departemen Teknik Kimia Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology Jepang. Dari tahun 2008 sampai sekarang beliau adalah ketua Graduate Program pada Departemen Teknik Kimia ITB. Di kampusnya beliau mengasuh mata kuliah termodinamika, material & energy balance, chemical reaction engineering, utility system, separation process, chemical process safety & chemical process design. Beberapa penelitian beliau, diantaranya hydrogen recovery from off-gas, propylene synthesis by propane dehydrogenation, synthesis of higher hydrocarbons from methane, gas separation using membrane, and L-Lactic Acid separation.

Pada tahun 1997 – 2002 beliau sebagai Research Associate pada Center for Research Energy ITB. Pada tahun 1993 – 1994 beliau juga sebagai Research Associate pada Development Technology Center ITB. Beliau telah mengeluarkan banyak papers, mengikuti conferences dan mempunyai beberapa paten diantaranya “Catalytic reactor with porous membrane partition wall, manufacture of chemical substances using same, and reaction apparatus using same,”  dan “Metode dan Alat Pengukur Permeabilitas Gas melalui Membran Berpori”. Beliau juga melakukan beberapa tugas, diantaranya “Development of Prototype of a Pilot Two-Stage Domestic Waste Treatment Unit”, “Monitoring on the Release of Hazardous Metal Ions from Battery and Electroplating Industries to Aquifer,”, “Study on CO2 Emission in Industrial Sector in Indonesia,”, “Update on General Specification of PT Badak”. Dr.Eng.Ir. Ir. A. M. Ulum A. Gani, M.Sc. ,who is graduated from Geofisika Tambang ITB Bandung, was born in Watan Soppeng, 18 December 1949, he is peneliti utama at Pusat Penelitian Geoteknologi Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI). 1990 – 1993 he was becoming head of Laboratorium Eksplorasi Mineral, Balitbang Mineral, Puslitbang Geoteknologi, Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI), and 1993-1997 he was becoming head of Laboratorium Pemanfaatan Bitumen, Puslitbang Geoteknologi –LIPI Bandung. He is lecturer at Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Mineral Indonesia (STTMI) Bandung since 1991-now and becoming head of department at Teknik Pertambangan, Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Mineral Indonesia (STTMI) Bandung. He has performed many seminars related to his expertise. Ir.A.M.Ulum A. Gani, M.Sc. has researched and published the results numerous number. TRAINING INTRODUCTION :
Oil and gas plants inherently emphasize the importance of planning for emergency and designing plant to minimize the occurrence of toxic release, or uncontrolled flammable gas into the surrounding and the environments. Hence, it is of critically important to understand the dispersion characteristics and to reduce the impact that may generate during plant operation. Accidents results from loss of containment of the gas from the process through various mechanism including leak, rupture, runway reactions, etc. The rate of discharge, quantity released, and dangerous concentrations levels are among important factors to determine. Therefore, to be able to model gas dispersion as a function of time and space, engineers must be able to : i) Identify  the release points, ii) develop a source model to describe how materials are released and the rate of  release, and iii) estimate the downwind concentration of toxic or flammable material using dispersions model. In this training, relevant DOW’s Chemical Exposure Index, ERPGs, OSHA (CFR 1910,119), NFPA, and NRC references will be consulted.

In addition to QRA result, the operator will know the areas downwind posses the high probability of the gas dispersion, the quantity and the impact generates. Hence, the measures and precaution can properly be anticipated. This highly quantitative analysis will be useful for both during design stage as and operation stage of the plant.

Dr. Ahmad Taufik,M.Eng. is Risk and Integrity Specialist, and  Chairman for Indonesian Society for Reliability (ISR). He got his doctorate program from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA (1996). He is now also a lecturer at Graduate Study Program at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) teaching for risk and integrity assessment related courses. He has been interacting with oil and gas companies for more than 10 years for training, consultant and project implementation. This much experiences in oil and gas industries will be shared by him in training class. Dr. Ahmad Taufik has much work experiences joining in some institution such as at Lloyd’s Register as Operation Manager, at PT. MMS, PT. Surveyor Indonesia and PT. AT Solusi as consultant and trainer. And at present Dr. Ahmad Taufik is an Asset Integrity Specialist for PT Pertamina PHE-ONWJ (formerly BP West Java, Indonesia). TRAINING OBJECTIVE :
This course covers the science and engineering of component materials used for oil and gas industry , the factors and mechanisms influencing their properties and their useful life as well as the methods to assure their quality during manufacturing and operation. Standard specification and clasification of materials for high reliability under normal and abnormal conditions., Materials certification requirement to ensure better performance in oil and gas environment as well as destructive  testing, plant monitoring techniques, procedures for structural integrity assessment of piping, vessel, and colom Participants should achieve a good understanding of materials behaviour in oil and gas environment and the use of those materials in the field.

Those who work in the logistics / materials department i.e. maintenance, purchasing warehousing, inventory control specially those who actually handle the materials receiving and storage.

  3. Physical, mechanical, chemical and   thermal properties of  ferro and no ferro materials
  4. Functional requirements for materials used for piping, vessel and  other  components.
  5. Impact of degradation on oil and gas  material‘s behaviour
  6. Materials certification requirement for application in oil and gas industries
  7. Composition analysis as a quality control to improve materials performance
  8. Factors limiting the lifetime of oil and gas components
  9. Plant diagnostic and monitoring techniques to improve realibility
  10. Structural  and component Integrity Assessment to improve safety
  11. Examples of failures induced by corrosion

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Ir. Djoko Hadi Prajitno, MSME. was graduated from Mining Metallurgy Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and Material Engineering UNSW Australia. He is as expert in Metallurgy/materials engineer at Metallurgy Laboratory Pusat Teknologi Nuklir Bahan dan Radiometri (PTNBR) Badan tenaga nuklir nasional (BATAN) Bandung. He is also lecturer at University of Jenderal Achmad Yani Bandung and lecturer at ITENAS (Institut teknologi nasional) Bandung. In campus he teachs material engineering, corrosion, advanced material, coating and metallurgy. He has researched some topics related to his expertise such as

  1. Research and development metal alloy with zirconium matrix
  2. Research and development coating of metal alloy inconel with aluminate in collaboration with mining engineering ITB
  3. Production and development of compound alloy between nikel-aluminida metals in collaboration with mechanical engineering ITB
  4. Coating of nikel aluminida at inconel alloy with spray Coating in collaboation with mechanical engineering ITB
  5. Research on Coating
  6. Research for production of material for stater drive Hercules airoplane in collaboration with DISLITBANG TNI AU
  7. Welding research of dissimilar metal

He frequently teachs training class for participants from many Indonesian companies. he has experience and knowledge about materials and skill that can be beneficial for warehouse people. He is member or has experience at some organizations such as HFI, Indonesian Corrosion Association, LSP AKN, Indosian Petroleum Association, National America Corrosion Engineer .
