TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Ir.Endra Joelianto, Ph.D. is an expert in control engineering and industrial automation. His outstanding research is: Hybrid Control Systems, Discrete Event Control Systems, Petri Nets Analysis and Application on PLC, Robust and Advanced PID Controller and its implementation on PLC, DCS, Fieldbus, Industrial automation and Advanced Control System Designs. He received first degree (Ir.) in Engineering Physics in 1990 from Department of Engineering Physics, ITB and Doctor of Philosofy (PhD.) in Control Engineering in 2001 from Department of Engineering, The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.  He is Head of Intelligent Control and Automation Laboratory and Coordinator of PLC Research Group for research and training, Engineering Physics Study Program and Instrumentation and Control Research Division, Institut Teknologi Bandung. He was Director of Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung.  He has attended several professional training on PLC, DCS and Instruments Callibration, such as: Yokogawa DCS, Bandung (2000), Implementation of Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 19-17025 and Basic Calibration, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Bandung (2001), Fieldbus Foundation Technology, Singapore (2002), Basic and Advanced PLC Telemecanique-TWIDO, Bandung (2003), Basic and Advanced PLC OMRON, Jakarta (2004), Cleaner Production Application in Industries (Bandung 2005), Effective Energy Systems for Sustainable Development (Thailand 2006), Programming and Networking PLC Mitsubishi (2006), InTouch Wonderware, Wonderware Historian and Information Server (Bandung, 2012). He also has hosted Workshop on Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2002) and (Bandung, 2003), Workshop on Application of PLC in Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2003), National Workshop on Instrumentation & Control (2011) and many professional trainings on PLC, DCS, SCADA, Human Machine Interface and Industrial Process Control and Automation in Bandung. He was the project leader of Department of National Education TPSDP Retooling Program Batch II on Industrial Automation using PLC (2004). He is the chairman of National Student Competition on PLC Programming held regularly since 2007 in ITB. He serves as instructor either for public or for in-house training on instrumentation and process control to universities, industries, petrochemical or oil and gas companies, such as: PT. Deskripsi Pelatihan
Pipeline atau perpipaan merupakan salah satu peralatan utama di dalam industri baik industri petrokimia, perminyakan, pertambangan dan lain-lain yang digunakan sebagai salah satu alat transportasi zat cair. Komponen utama perpipaan adalah pomp dan jaringan pipa, sementara komponen-komponen bantu adalah katub-katub dan strainer (block valve, control valve, strainer, foot valve, dll), fiting (elbow, tee, reducer, inducer, dll) dan berbagai alat bantu lain yang diperlukan. Selain komponen utama dan bantu, perpipaan masih dilengkapi dengan beberapa instrumen misalnya instrumen alat ukur.

Unjuk kerja perpipaan mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap unjuk kerja proses. Unjuk kerja perpipaan sangat dipengaruhi oleh proses perencanaan (design), cara mengoperasikan (operation) dan perawatan (maintenance). Kursus ini membahas bagaimana cara mendesain, cara pengoperasian dan perawatan perpipaan.

Pipeline Risk & Integrity Management is the most current and modern integrated management system to insure public and environmental safety for oil and gas pipeline transportation operation both onshore and offshore pipelines. It covers detail risk and integrity assessment, inspection, maintenance and repair plan. The pipeline management will also follows specific rules and procedures outlined by ISO 9000 quality system. To enhance the coverage, pipeline risk and integrity management is usually combined with geographical information system (GIS) and online security electronic system to monitor and control the pipeline right of way (ROW) more effectively. Data base management system is therefore a critical part for successful pipeline integrity management implementation. In this training course ANSI/ASME 31.8S and API 1160 as recommended practices and other related method and procedures, will be discussed.

The training course will cover every aspect of welding technology, process and welding supervision, related with welding metallurgy and material selection. Once the proper groundwork has been laid, everything will be pulled together with suggestion on how to get the most out of advanced welding supervision , process and welding inspection with examples and guidelines  for using the program to achieve optimum, least cost welding procedure specification related with fabrication process.

THE COURSE
This course will provide improve knowledge and practical technology training for guide line  process, welding parameter set-up, related with properties of material, before, during and after welding process. The course will be comprehensively discusses and guide  the calculation and analysis need in kind of welding process, material selection, code standards, and operating maintaining special material with least weld ability , and bring the participant  to be familiar with any kind of welding process and give how to identify welding imperfection and test.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN :

  1. Welding Supervision and Process

The module will provide participants with the welding supervision parameter and process, advantage and disadvantage welding process related with base materials, and  welding technique, welding position, type of joint, set-up welding parameters. This module also discuss the practical exercise, technique and kind of test after welding related code standards.

  1. Welding Metallurgy

Through this module, participant will learn the materials commonly used with any kind of applications welding process, effect of alloying elements, weld ability of various material ( carbon steel, stainless steel , aluminum, nickel alloys, cobalt alloys, magnesium and casting ). Heat-Affected Zone (HAZ ), thermal cycle  and heat input effect in the weld zone.

  1. Welding Maintenance Repair

Through this module, participant  will learn :

  • Welding Procedure Specifications for casting materials
  • Post Weld Heat Treatment
  • Weld ability of casting ( refurbish, hard facing, over layer )
  • Quality Control during welding and after welding process.
  • AWS Classifications ( Consumable , test and code )

Through this module, participants will be guided to discuss the inspection methods, preparation procedure, and safety in performing internal inspection. The training material subjects are covered: physical properties, phase equilibria and  vapour liquid equilibrium calculations, water-hydrocarbon systems, natural gas gathering and plant inlet separation, acid gas treating/sweetening, dew  point control and natural gas liquids recovery. The training is designed primarily for engineers and technologists involved in the design, operation, and optimization of gas processing facilities. This training is designed to familiarize technical professionals with the design and operation of propane refrigeration loops used in typical NGL recovery and/or dewpoint control facilities, with an emphasis on design, troubleshooting and performance optimization. A working knowledge of gas compression is required. The principles of natural gas liquids fractionation and cryogenic expander operation are also discussed, including LNG and LPG operations and power recovery from LNG import terminals.

Deskripsi Pelatihan
Piping and Pipeline Engineering: Design, Construction, Maintenance, Integrity, and Repair describes the fundamental steps to any successful piping and pipeline engineering project, whether it’s routine maintenance or a multi-million dollar project new. Explores the understanding of the qualitative details, calculations, and techniques are essential in supporting competent decisions. He pairs coverage of real-world practice with the technical principles that underlie the material, design, construction, inspection, testing, and maintenance.

Participants will understand the seven principles that will help establish a balance between production, cost, security and integrity of piping and piping systems.

Through this course participants learn about the coverage of codes and standards, design analysis, welding and inspection, corrosion mechanisms, fitness-for-service and failure analysis, and an overview of valve selection and application. It features the technical basis of piping and pipeline code design rules for normal operating conditions and occasional loads and addresses the basic principles of materials, design, fabrication, testing and corrosion, and its effect on the integrity of the system.

Tujuan Pelatihan
Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, peserta diharapkan:

  1. The Participant will gain an in-depth knowledge of pipe and fitting material specifications, manufacturing, fabrication process and their influence on mechanical properties of strength and toughness, to help in material selection and failure analysis
  2. Understand the technical background to the design formulas, and their application to the design of piping systems and pipelines. The course addresses rules of good practice in layout of piping systems for reliable operation
  3. Practical understanding of piping and pipeline mode of failure, corrosion mechanisms, how to recognize them, classify them and resolve them

Bagi industri proses, industri proses,  sistem perpipaan merupakan urat nadi keberlangsungan industri. Penguasaan teori sistem perpipaan oleh seluruh personil akan sangat menunjang performance perusahaan.
