TRAINING INTRODUCTION:
This training will be presented for the supervisor or engineer  or those who handle of engaged in managing the maintenance of production machinery, utilities, and users of production machinery. All of company facilities (items), such as production machinery, utilities, buildings, etc. should be in standard condition. Standard condition of items could be maintained through programmed maintenance. Therefore,  in order the exercise of the maintenance activities can be well done, should be managed for the maintenance of these items. The success of the maintenance activities will support the increase in production, working comfort, and enhance the prestige of the company.

During the training, presentation of the materials will be presented in a comprehensive manner, through the method of presentation of these things easily lead to a more complex, and practically based to a critical analysis.

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Brayan Munthe was born in May 26th 1954. He got his education from electrical engineering IKIP Padang, then diploma of technical teacher training Hawthorn Institute of Education, Melbourne, and his master program from electrical engineering universitas gadjah mada, UGM Yogyakarta. He has followed many courses in Indonesia and also abroad to improve his capabilities. He is lecturer at politeknik TEDC and also at electrical department technical education development center Bandung. He has field experiences because he has done some projects in some companies in Indonesia related to his competencies

Beliau juga pernah menjadi dosen di Polytechnic Education Development Center selama 11 tahun. Menjadi Technical Director di PT Pinangmas Energi Cakrawala Jakarta. Lalu di Cakrawala Optimus Explorer Bandung. Consultant & Trainer pada beberapa lembaga diantaranya di PT.MMS dan Logistic System di PT WKM. Beliau sudah sering mengajar pelatihan untuk perusahaan di Indonesia di bidang topik keahlian beliau diantaranya tentang material handling, maintenance, database system for Mechanical Engineering, Planning and Scheduling Maintenance dan lain-lain. TRAINING  OBJECTIVES:
The function of a pressure safety valve is to protect pressure vessels, piping systems, exchanger, boiler and other equipment from pressures exceeding their design pressure by more that a fixed predetermined amount. The permissible amount of overpressure is covered by various codes and is a function of the type of equipment and the conditions causing the overpressure. Failure of safety valve can cause cathastropic accident. Periodically inspection, testing and repair is one of the most important element that the safety valve work properly.This course explains how safety valve and relief functions and how to maintains and ensure long life operation.

Sistem pengukuran merupakan bagian dari teknik instrumentasi, karena itu ada baiknya untuk memulai pembahasan sebagai pengertian dasar teknik instrumentasi. Teknik instrumentasi adalah seni dan ilmu yang mempelajari sifat-sifat benda dan hukum-hukum alam yang dapat dimanfaatkan bagi kepentingan manusia melalui pengukuran, pengamatan, dan pengendalian proses fisik.

Sistem kontrol adalah sistem dinamik yang dapat menggunakan komponen mekanik, listrik, hidrolik, pneumatik. Teknik pengaturan dapat dilakukan dengan sistem operasi satu arah yang berurutan, maupun pengaturan umpan balik dengan parameter yang diatur dibandingkan dengan parameter masukan dan kesalahan yang ada digunakan untuk menurunkan kesalahan itu sendiri.

Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi dalam bidang instrumentasi dan sistem Kontrol.

INSTRUCTOR
DR. Ir. I Made Astina, M.Eng. and Team
DR. Ir. I Made Astina, M.Eng. is currently assistant professor of mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering ITB. He graduated from Mechanical Engineering Department ITB in 1992. Prior to his Ph.D. obtainment in Engineering (thermodynamics, school of science for open and environmental systems) from Keio University Tokyo, Japan in 2004, he received Master of Science in Engineering (mechanical engineering department) from the same university in 1997. His researches concern on thermodynamic, development of new thermal systems, thermodynamic cycles, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. His papers were published in international and national journals, besides he also presents his papers in international and national seminars. Besides teaching at the university, he also has experiences to give short courses for industrial practical engineers and publics and to collaborate practical consultant works.

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Ir. Endra Joelianto, Ph.D. is an expert in control engineering and industrial automation. His outstanding research is: Hybrid Control Systems, Discrete Event Control Systems, Petri Nets Analysis and Application on PLC, Robust and Advanced PID Controller and its implementation on PLC, DCS, Fieldbus, Industrial automation and Advanced Control System Designs. He received first degree (Ir.) in Engineering Physics in 1990 from Department of Engineering Physics, ITB and Doctor of Philosofy (PhD.) in Control Engineering in 2001 from Department of Engineering, The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.  He is Head of Intelligent Control and Automation Laboratory and Coordinator of PLC Research Group for research and training, Engineering Physics Study Program and Instrumentation and Control Research Division, Institut Teknologi Bandung.

He was Director of Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung.  He has attended several professional training on PLC, DCS and Instruments Callibration, such as: Yokogawa DCS, Bandung (2000), Implementation of Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 19-17025 and Basic Calibration, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Bandung (2001), Fieldbus Foundation Technology, Singapore (2002), Basic and Advanced PLC Telemecanique-TWIDO, Bandung (2003), Basic and Advanced PLC OMRON, Jakarta (2004), Cleaner Production Application in Industries (Bandung 2005), Effective Energy Systems for Sustainable Development (Thailand 2006), Programming and Networking PLC Mitsubishi (2006), InTouch Wonderware, Wonderware Historian and Information Server (Bandung, 2012). He also has hosted Workshop on Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2002) and (Bandung, 2003), Workshop on Application of PLC in Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2003), National Workshop on Instrumentation & Control (2011) and many professional trainings on PLC, DCS, SCADA, Human Machine Interface and Industrial Process Control and Automation in Bandung.

He was the project leader of Department of National Education TPSDP Retooling Program Batch II on Industrial Automation using PLC (2004). He is the chairman of National Student Competition on PLC Programming held regularly since 2007 in ITB. Water treating and chemicals are everyday encountered work and problems must be accomplished in industry. This training will be presented for the senior operator or junior supervisor or engineer  or those who handle of electrical power generating in industries or mining. It is known that the electrical energy required by industries supplied from outside by PLN in Indonesia. But the electric energy industry required for 24 hours a day is not guaranteed to be supplied by PLN. Therefore, every industry is requiring a backup generator, called the stand-by generator. Where there are some industries or mines have themselves generators to produce electrical energy to be consumed by themselves. He got his education from electrical engineering IKIP Padang, then diploma of technical teacher training Hawthorn Institute of Education, Melbourne, and his master program from electrical engineering universitas gadjah mada, UGM Yogyakarta. INSTRUKTUR TRAINING
Dr. Ir. Edy Suwondo
is a lecturer at the Aerospace Engineering Department, Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB) and a member of the Aircraft Design, Operation and Maintenance Research Group, ITB. He has been working in the area of maintenance since 1992. His expertise is in Reliability Centered Maintenance, Reliability Control Program, Maintenance Planning and Life Cycle Costing. He has conducted various research in those area at GMF AeroAsia, Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM), Nusantara Turbine and Propulsion (PT NTP) and Indonesian Aerospace Company (IAe). He involves also in various projects in his research group. Mr. Edy Suwondo received his bachelor degree from the Aerospace Engineering ITB and his doctor degree from Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands. His doctor research was in the applications of Life Cycle Costing in maintenance area.
