TRAINING DESCRIPTION:
Service technicians involved in the maintenance, replacement or service operations of industrial valves and piping systems involving hydrogen sulfide shall alert personnel (including employees, service companies, and contractors) of the possibility of hydrogen sulfide atmospheric concentrations greater than 10 ppm and sulfur dioxide atmospheric concentrations greater than 2 ppm that may be encountered in the performance of their work. All personnel working in an area where concentrations of hydrogen sulfide or sulfur dioxide may reach or exceed OSHA PELs shall be provided with training prior to beginning the work assignment. All employers, whether operator, contractor, or subcontractor, shall be responsible for training and instruction of their own employees. Personnel assigned to work in areas where they may be exposed to hydrogen sulfide or sulfur dioxide shall be trained by a hydrogen sulfide safety instructor. This course will provide delegates with the additional skills, information and knowledge, along with the appropriate attitudes to enable them to identify and manage a H2S hazard, assess the risks and implement the appropriate control measures.

Deskripsi Pelatihan
Six Sigma merupakan metodology yang sangat ampuh untuk menekan variabilitas dan meningkatkan kapabilitas proses untuk mengeliminasi defect melalui DMAIC methodology dan teknik statistik. Lean adalah teknik mengeliminasi waste dan menciptakan proses yang mengalir melalui penerapan prinsip Lean.

Namun menerapkan Lean atau Six Sigma saja memiliki keterbatasan. Dengan Six Sigma, defect dapat dieliminasi tetapi tidak bisa bisa menjawab bagaimana membuat proses mengalir,   sedangkan dengan Lean meskipun prosesnya mengalir, namun dengan defect yang masih ada maka akan mempengaruhi aliranmaterial dan proses yang ujung-ujungnya mempengaruhi performance perusahaan.

AhmadTaufik,M.Eng.is Risk and Integrity Specialist, and  Chairman for Indonesian Society for Reliability (ISR). He got his doctorate program from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA (1996). He is now also a lecturer at Graduate Study Program at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) teaching for risk and integrity assessment related courses.He has been interacting with oil and gas companies for more than 10 years for training, consultant and project implementation. This much experiences in oil and gas industries will be shared by him in training class. Dr. Ahmad Taufik has much work experiences joining in some institution such as at Lloyd’s Register as Operation Manager, at PT. MMS, PT. Surveyor Indonesia and PT. AT Solusi as consultant and trainer. And at present Dr. Ahmad Taufikis an Asset Integrity Specialist for PT Pertamina PHE-ONWJ (formerly BP West Java, Indonesia). This three-day foundation course is designed for learning and understanding IT quality concepts. It provides an excellent overview of the entire IT quality professional area.
