LATAR BELAKANG

was graduated from politeknik universitas brawijaya malang for his diploma in mechanical engineering majoring on mechanical maintenance and repairing, from ITS Surabaya for his bachelor in mechanical engineering majoring on production engineering, and from ITB Bandung for his master program in mechanical engineering majoring on production engineering.

Now he is as lecturer at mechanical engineering Politeknik Negeri Bandung(before as poltek ITB). Ir. Sugeng Isdwiyanudi, MT. has followed many trainings/courses to improve his competence.

Pembicara / Fasilitator
Dr.Ir. Sutanto Hadisupadmo.MT.,IPM is a lecturer at Physics Engineering Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and has been as a Head of Laboratory of Industrial Instrumentation at ITB. He is former Director of Instrumentation Center and Technical Services of ITB. His education started at Engineering Physics, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB-1977), then at Diplome Universite in Energetique, Universite de Prepignan, France (1985), Magister Engineering in Instrumentation and Control (ITB) and Doctor (ITB). He has over 20 years of experience doing training, consulting work in instrumentation, measurement, safety and process control and Mr. Sutanto has trained many training/courses for many companies in Indonesia such as PT. TOTAL Indonesie, Pertamina, PT. Petrokimia Gresik, PT. Badak LNG, PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda, PT. Pupuk Kaltim, PT. Jaya Ancol and many others. PENDAHULUAN :  
Non Destructive Test; NDT adalah pengujian material yang dilakukan tanpa harus merusak bagian konstruksi (produk, material) atau obyek yang diuji untuk mengetahui cacat baik cacat luar maupun cacat dalam. Pemeriksaan kualitas terhadap cacat produk (material) dilakukan setiap kali apabila diperlukan. Berkenaan dengan penilaian produk catat yang diteliti, penerimaan dan penolakannya dalam penggunaan dan nilai barang dalam rupa, dipakai sebagai patokan penilaian. Bagi produk yang penilaiannya sulit karena ada pada batas antara diterima dan ditolak, maka hal ini harus diyakinkan dengan pengujian benda palsu atau pengujian dalam penggunaannya. Pemeriksaan harus dilakukan sedemikian rupa sehingga dari pemeriksaan diperoleh keyakinan. Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Pengujian Material Bersifat Tidak merusak (Non Destuctive Test).

LATAR BELAKANG:
Perencanaan kondisi proses perlu ditunjang dengan data mengenai ongkos produksi, ongkos pahat, ongkos operasi, dan data pemesinan yang lengkap yang biasanya tidak diketahui oleh seorang operator mesin. Hal ini sesungguhnya memang merupakan tugas bagi seorang ahli teknik produksi yang menguasai teori, memiliki data, dan pengalaman yang memungkinkan dalam penentuan kondisi proses pemesinan sesuai dengan tujuan dengan sebaik mungkin atau optimum. Dalam optimisasi kondisi pemesinan diperlukan suatu algoritma yaitu langkah logik yang menggunakan suatu model matematik untuk menghitung harga paling baik atau optimum bagi variabel proses pemesinan dapat dipenuhi, yaitu Ongkos produksi yang paling rendah atau ekonomik, Kecepatan produksi yang paling tinggi atau produktif, dan Kecepatan penghasilan keuntungan yang paling tinggi atau menguntungkan. Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Optimisasi Sistem Produksi (Optimization for Production System).

PENDAHULUAN :
Ilmu Teknik bidang Teknik Mesin ( Mechanical Engineering ) merupakan salah satu pendukung utama berkembangnya industri, sehingga penguasaan yang memadai di bidang Mechanical Engineering merupakan syarat mutlak untuk dapat menangani peralatan-peralatan industri baik bagi seorang Engineer, Technician atupun Operator. Mechanical Engineering merupakan cabang ilmu teknik yang berpijak terutama antara lain pada ilmu-ilmu Matematika, Kinematika Dinamika, Material, Mekanika Material, Mekanika Fluida, Mekanika Panas,Thermodinamika dan Teknik Pengukuran serta Teknik Pengendalian. Kursus singkat ini mendiskusikan dasar-dasar ilmu di atas termasuk penerapannya di bidang Mechanical Engineering. Selesai mengikuti kursus ini peserta diharapkan lebih memahami dasar-dasar ilmu Mechanical sehingga semakin memahami cara menangani peralatan industri baik dari segi desain konstruksi, pengoperasian dan pemeliharaan. Kursus ini dapat diikuti oleh profesional di bidang engineering dari berbagai macam latar belakang keilmuan yang telah menempuh derajat pendidikan S1 fresh graduate, D3 dengan pengalaman kerja minimal 2 tahun dan STM/SMA dengan pengalaman kerja minimal 5 tahun.

  5. Dasar-dasar Thermodinamika dan penerapannya
  6. Perpindahan Panas Dasar
  7. Dasar-dasar Teknik Pengukuran dan Pengendalian

TRAINING OBJECTIVES :

  • Introduce machinery condition – base maintenance concept by vibration monitoring and analysis.
  • Better knowledge and skill to monitoring machinery failure by vibration analysis, e.g., bearing problem, unbalance, alignment, gearbox, looseness, blade and vane, electric motor etc.

TRAINING MATERIAL OUTLINE :

  1. Fundamental of vibration: time domain, frequency domain, FFT Spectrum.
  2. Vibration Instrumentation: accelerometer, velocity, proximity pick up, digital signal analyzer.
  3. Vibration measurement technique
  4. Data analysis
  5. Fault diagnosis: rotor, fan unbalance, misalignment problem, roller and journal/ sleeve bearing problem, mechanical looseness, gear box, belt problem, electric motor, vane and blade, resonance/ natural frequency.
  6. Vibration standard and machinery vibration evaluation criteria
  7. Vibration damping/ absorber
  8. Case study and interactive discussion
