LATAR BELAKANG:
Sistem pengukuran merupakan bagian dari teknik instrumentasi, karena itu ada baiknya untuk memulai pembahasan dengan pengertian-pengertian dasar teknik instrumentasi. Teknik instrumentasi adalah seni dan ilmu yang mempelajari sifat-sifat benda dan hukum-hukum alam dimanfaatkan bagi kepentingan manusia melalui pengamatan, pengukuran, dan pengendalian proses fisik. Sistem kontrol adalah sistem dinamik yang menggunakan komponen mekanik, listrik, hidrolik, pneumatik. Teknik pengaturan dapat dilakukan dengan sistem operasi satu arah yang berurutan, maupun pengaturan umpan balik dengan parameter yang diatur dibandingkan dengan parameter masukan dan kesalahan yang ada digunakan untuk menurunkan kesalahan itu sendiri. Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Sistem Instrumentasi dan Kontrol.

CAKUPAN MATERI TRAINING:

  1. This course deals with measurement techniques ranging from the basic principles, sensors, up until data acquisition.
  2. Coverage includes definition/terminologies, calibration, standards, static and dynamic signal analysis, data representation in the frequency domain, sampling theorem and aliasing, digital data acquisition, dynamic response of instruments, step response of first and second order systems, statistical analysis, measurements of temperature, strain, flow, pressure, velocity, and displacement.
  3. This class discusses the basic of control theory and its applications.
  4. The syllabus includes examples of control application in our daily life and in the industry, on-of controller, proportional control, PID controller, mathematical model of control system, block diagram formulation and simplifications, system stability, transient and steady state response, root locus analysis, Bode and Nyquist diagrams, and compensation design.
  5. Considerations in implementing control, components of automatic control systems: actuators, motors, sensors, vision systems, analogy control systems, digital control systems (PC-based, PLC programming), examples; robots, NC machines, etc, design of control systems, case studies.

DESCRIPTIONS
Setiap proses pengukuran akan menghasilkan data pengukuran, yaitu kumpulan harga hasil pengukuran. Berdasarkan data pengukuran penjelasan seharusnya dapat disimpulkan sehingga hasil pengukuran menjadi lebih berarti, yaitu sesuai dengan tujuan pengukuran. Seperti halnya pembuatan produk maka proses pengukuran juga mengalami variasi, yang berarti hasilnya mungkin akan lain apabila proses pengukuran diulangi. Besar kecilnya perbedaan ini dipengaruhi oleh proses pengukuran (metoda, alat ukur, benda ukur, lingkungan, pengukur) dan kecermatan alat ukur.

Apabila variasi harganya adalah sedemikian rupa sehingga sulit untuk membedakannya, atau angka-angka yang harus diperiksa terlalu banyak, maka diperlukan  metoda analisis yang dapat diandalkan yang mampu menunjukkan kesamaan atau perbedaan secara lebih jelas. Keterangan mengenai seberapa jauh harga-harga pengukuran bervariasi menentukan ketepatan proses pengukuran yang bersangkutan. Sementara itu, perbedaan antara harga rata-rata dengan memperhatikan aspek variasi data pengukuran menentukan ketelitian antara ke tiga data yang diperbandingkan. Metoda untuk menganalisis harga-harga yang bervariasi telah dikenal dengan nama analisis statistika. Ilmu statistika dikembangkan menjadi metoda analisis data yang dapat diandalkan untuk menentukan kesimpulan yang sejelas mungkin dengan keraguan sesedikit mungkin. Hal ini otomatis akan mengarah pada perancangan metoda penelitian yang paling sesuai dengan masalah yang dihadapi guna menuju pada analisis data dengan keunggulan seperti yang dijanjikan.

Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Statistik Aplikasi Industri (Application Statistic in Industry).

TUJUAN TRAINING :
Membekali peserta tentang wawasan dan pengetahuan analisis data pengukuran menggunakan metoda statistik di mana setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, peserta diharapkan mampu:

  1. Memahami dan menjelaskan konsep dasar statistik teknik
  2. Memahami dan menjelaskan disteibusi normal
  3. Menjelaskan distribusi harga rata-rata

  1. Konsep dasar statistik teknik.
    Keandalan analisis statistika, parameter analisis statistika, pengembangan ilmu statistika.
  2. Distribusi normal.
    Harga rata-rata batas, varian teoretik, deviasi standar teoretik, persamaan matematik kurva distribusi, normal, sifat penting kurva distribusi normal, variabel standar, fungsi distribusi normal standar, fungsi distribusi komulatif standar, kurva distribusi normal standar, nilai kemungkinan komulatif, garis linier distribusi normal standar.
  3. Distribusi harga rata-rata.
    Dalil limit tengah, deviasi standar variabel, kurva distribusi normal harga rata-rata, nilai kemungkinan variabel, selang kepercayaan, limit kepercayaan, tingkat kepercayaan, karakteristik populasi variabel stokastik.
  4. Distribusi – t (student distribution).
    Variabel – t, derajat kebebasan, kurva distribusi – t, tes hipotesa, analisis aplikasi teknik.
  5. Analisis perbandingan data (analisis varian).
    • Analisis perbandingan dua data (Pemeriksaan kedua harga varian sampel (Fisher Test),  fraktil distribusi rasio varian, pemeriksaan kedua harga rata-rata sampel,  fraktil distribusi – t, analisis aplikasi teknik).
    • Analisis perbandingan k-data (Pemeriksaan k – varian (M.S Bartlett),  fraktil distribusi chi kuadrat, pemeriksaan k – harga rata-rata, fraktil distribusi rasio varian, perhitungan selang kepercayaan, analisis aplikasi teknik).
  6. Analisis regresi
    • Analisis regresi linier tanpa pengamatan ulang (Konsep analisis regresi: kovarian, variabel bebas dan tak bebas, koefisien korelasi, analisis korelasi, Konsep analisis regresi: kovarian, variabel bebas dan tak bebas, koefisien korelasi, analisis korelasi, analisis regresi, fungsi linier teoretik dan empirik, konstanta garis linier empirik (konstanta a dan b), harga varian di sekitar garis regresi, varian dan derajat kebebasan garis empirik, selang kepercayaan garis linier empirik, langkah-langkah dan beberapa hal penting analisis regresi linier tanpa pengamatan ulang, analisis aplikasi teknik)
    • Analisis regresi untuk fungsi non linier (Beberapa fungsi non linier, transformasi bentuk linier,  langkah-langkah analisis regresi fungsi non linier, analisis aplikasi teknik)
    • Perbandingan dua garis regresi linier (Pemeriksaan dua varian garis regresi (Fisher Test), fraktil distribusi rasio varian, pemeriksaan kesejajaran dua garis regresi, fraktil distribusi – t, pemeriksaan kesamaan dua garis sejajar, tes perhitungan untuk data garis regresi gabungan, analisis aplikasi teknik)

Pemindahan bahan merupakan kegiatan dalam proses manufaktur yang meliputi pemindahan, pengepakan, dan penyimpanan dari barang atau benda dengan segala bentuknya (gas, cair, padat) yang dilaksanakan dari satu lokasi ke lokasi yang lain baik secara vertikal, horizontal, maupun lintasan yang membentuk kurva. Umumnya dalam proses manufaktur lebih baik bahan yang yang bergerak dari pada orang atau mesin yang berpindah. Signifikasi biaya dari kegiatan pemindahan bahan tidak bisa diabaikan, karena memerlukan biaya berkisar 25 % dari total biaya produksi, sehingga sistem pemindahan bahan memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam perencanaan tata letak pabrik. Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Material Handling.

Beliau adalah kepala Laboratorium Energi termal Teknik Mesin Institut Teknologi Bandung, Beliau juga pernah menjabat sebagai ketua jurusan Teknik Mesin ITENAS Bandung, Pernah mengajar di SESKOAD, Pernah mengajar di prokerma depnaker-ITB, prokerma PLN-ITB. Beliau juga pernah memperdalam keilmuan di luar negeri seperti bidang Coal Energy , Argonne, Chicago, Ill., USA, bidang Combustion, Petc, Pittsburgh, Pa, USA dan Pinch Technology, Asian-Australia Energy Cooperation. Bidang spesialisasi Beliau adalah Boiler, Turbin Uap/Gas, Pompa, Kompresor, Konversi Energi dan analisis energy.. Dr. Ahmad Taufik,M.Eng. is Risk and Integrity Specialist, and Chairman for Indonesian Society for Reliability (ISR). He got his doctorate program from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA (1996). He is now also a lecturer at Graduate Study Program at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) teaching for risk and integrity assessment related courses. He has been interacting with oil and gas companies for more than 10 years for training, consultant and project implementation. This much experiences in oil and gas industries will be shared by him in training class. Dr. Ahmad Taufik has much work experiences joining in some institution such as at Lloyd’s Register as Operation Manager, at PT. MMS, PT. Surveyor Indonesia and PT. AT Solusi as consultant and trainer. And at present Dr. Ahmad Taufik is an Asset Integrity Specialist for PT Pertamina PHE-ONWJ (formerly BP West Java, Indonesia). He has performed in depth study in integrity research for pipeline, mechanical and pressurized system. He is member of ASM and ASME. He has wide interest including RBI, PIM, FTA, FMECA, RCA, RAM study and many other risk engineering areas. Flow assurance refers to ensuring successful and economical flow of hydrocarbon stream from reservoir to the point of sale. Flow assurance involves effectively handling many solid deposits, such as, gas hydrates, asphaltene, wax, scale, and naphthenates. In addition, it covers network modeling and transient multiphase. Flow assurance is most critical task during deep water energy production because of the high pressures and low temperature (~4 degree Celsius) involved. The financial loss from production interruption or asset damage due to flow assurance mishap can be astronomical. What compounds the flow assurance task even further is that these solid deposits can interact with each other and can cause catastrophic blockage formation in pipelines and result in flow assurance failure.

INTRODUCTION :
The natural gas industry has recognized that dehydration is necessary to ensure smooth operation of gas transmission lines. Dehydration prevents the formation of gas hydrates and reduces corrosion. Unless gases are dehydrated, liquid water may condense in pipelines and accumulate at low points along the line, reducing its flow capacity. Therefore, the removal of the water that is associated with natural gases in vapor form is one critical step in gas processing scheme. Several methods have been developed to dehydrate gases on an industrial scale. The three major methods are: direct cooling, adsorption and absorption. Hilman Ahmad, DCE, an Independent Consultant in industrial oil and gas, member of the Society of Indonesian Petroleum Engineers, who manage the Industrial Oil & Gas Education Center for Professionals and has been practicing production operation & safety and corrosion control engineering in Indonesia for more than twenty-five years. He post-graduated from Tokyo Institute of technology (sponsored by UNESCO) in 1977. He joined in-field-practice program at Nippon Kokan Steel Company & Research Center Kawasaki, Japan for production facility design & construction and corrosion prevention & control in 1983, and collaborated with Cormon Industrial Research Center Brighton UK for on-line corrosion monitoring development in 2000.He has been delivering consultative course in production operation, maintenance & safety and corrosion control for personnel from Oil & Gas Company and Petrochemical Industry since 1979.

PENGANTAR:
Walaupun kondisi mesin dapat diketahui dengan berbagai teknik analisis seperti: emisi, akustik, analisis pelumas, analisis partikel, pemantauan korosi, termografi, dan pemantauan performansi, namun analisis vibrasi merupakan kunci untuk melakukan predictive maintenance. Pada dasarnya, semua yang bergerak menghasilkan vibrasi. Mesin-mesin tertentu akan menghasilkan vibrasi yang khas, kondisi tertentu pada mesin akan menghasilkan jejak vibrasi yang khas pula. Analisis vibrasi sangat bermanfaat untuk perawatan mesin-mesin berputar, seperti: turbin uap dan gas, pompa, motor, kompresor, mesin kertas, rolling mill, mesin perkakas dan gearbox. Selain itu, analisis vibrasi juga digunakan untuk melakukan diagnosis kerusakan mesin. Bahkan teknik ini juga bisa digunakan untuk perwatan mesin-mesin reciprocating.

The training material subjects are covered: physical properties, phase equilibria and  vapour liquid equilibrium calculations, water-hydrocarbon systems, natural gas gathering and plant inlet separation, acid gas treating/sweetening, dew  point control and natural gas liquids recovery. The training is designed primarily for engineers and technologists involved in the design, operation, and optimization of gas processing facilities. This training is designed to familiarize technical professionals with the design and operation of propane refrigeration loops used in typical NGL recovery and/or dewpoint control facilities, with an emphasis on design, troubleshooting and performance optimization. A working knowledge of gas compression is required. The principles of natural gas liquids fractionation and cryogenic expander operation are also discussed, including LNG and LPG operations and power recovery from LNG import terminals.

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Dr. Ir. Edy Suwondo is a lecturer at the Aerospace Engineering Department, Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB) and a member of the Aircraft Design, Operation and Maintenance Research Group, ITB. He has been working in the area of maintenance since 1992. His expertise is in Reliability Centered Maintenance, Reliability Control Program, Maintenance Planning and Life Cycle Costing. He has conducted various research in those area at GMF AeroAsia, Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM), Nusantara Turbine and Propulsion (PT NTP) and Indonesian Aerospace Company (IAe). He involves also in various projects in his research group. Mr. Edy Suwondo received his bachelor degree from the Aerospace Engineering ITB and his doctor degree from Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands. His doctor research was in the applications of Life Cycle Costing in maintenance area
