PENDAHULUAN:
Setiap manusia membutuhkan suatu gambaran pasti dari setiap permasalahan dan ingin menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapinya dengan cara ilmiah dan dengan disertai dengan bukti-bukti empiris. Demikian halnya dalam kehidupan dalam dunia kerja, segala sesuatu dinilai dengan menggunakan variable yang real dan bukan berdasarkan asumsi maupun perasaan saja. Jika Anda sudah mempelajari  pengantar umum statistik dan ingin memperluas pengetahuan Anda tentang lapangan. Training ini menekankan prinsip-prinsip dasar dan aplikasi praktis daripada rincian teknis. Penggunaan komputer merupakan komponen penting – tentu saja termasuk SPSS, yang akan Anda gunakan untuk menganalisis data dan mengembangkan pemahaman Anda tentang statistik. Materi training yang pada prinsipnya mempelajari peran statistik sebagai alat analisis kuantitatif, statistik deskriptif, peluang, peubah acak,beberapa distribusi peluang diskret, beberapa distribusi peluang continyu dan fungsi peubah acak.

CAKUPAN MATERI TRAINING:

  1. Konsep dasar: koleksi data, pengertian statistik, populasi, sampel, sampling, jenis skala,Peserta diharapkan dapat re-fresh dari pengalaman menggunakan metode statistika dan menambah pengetahuan dasar-dasar statistika terapan
  2. Deskripsi data: histogram, grafik. Peserta pelatihan dapat membedakan jenis-jenis dan cara pendeskripsian data dalam pelaporan.
  3. Peluang dan distibusi peluang: peluang, kejadian, teorema bayes, distribusi peluang. Mengerti mengenai konsep peluang. Analisa dari data-data mentah dan pengaplikasiannya dalam statistika
  4. Variabel diskrit dan kontinu, peluang distibusi diskrit dan kontinu. Mampu membedakan kejadian saling lepas dan saling berhubungan dalam rangkaian raw data (data mentah)
  5. Distribusi sampling. Memahami konsep peluang, mampu memperhitungkan sebuah peluang, dan mengetahui penyebaran peluang dalam setiap kejadian
  6. Regresi
    • Dapat menjelaskan pentingnya analisis hubungan
    • Dapat memahami dan menerapkan regresi.
    • Dapat menggunakan teknik ramalan dan melakukan analisis regresi.
    • Dapat melatih kemampuan peserta untuk mengatasi permasalahan industri yang berhubungan dengan regresi.
    • Dapat mengembangkan keterampilan peserta dalam menggunakan dan menganalisa dengan SPPS Ver. 10.0
  7. Korelasi
    • Dapat menghitung.koefisien korelasi
    • Dapat menjelaskan pentingnya analisis hubungan
    • Dapat melatih kemampuan peserta untuk mengatasi permasalahan industri yang berhubungan dergan kolerasi
    • Dapat mengembangkan keterampilan peserta dalam menggunakan dan menganalisa dengan program SPSS Ver. 10.0
  8. Chi-Square
    • Dapat membandingkan antara frekuensi-frekuensi harapan dengan frekuensi-frekuensi teramati.
    • Dapat mengetahui data sebuah sampel yang diambil menunjang hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa populasi asal sampel tersebut mengikuti suatu distribusi yang telah ditetapkan.
    • Dapat melatih kemampuan peserta untuk mengatasi masalah industri yang berhubungan dengan chi-square.
  9. ANOVA 1 arah
    • Untuk mengetahui dan memahami uji statistik dengan menggunakan ANOVA, terutama ANOVA 1 arah,
    • Untuk mengetahui persoalan dan masalah-masalah yang berkaitan dengan uji ANOVA 1 arah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
    • Agar dapat menyelesaikan persoalan uji ANOVA 1 arah dan menarik kesimpulan yang sesuai dengan persoalan yang diujikan.
  10. ANOVA 2 arah
    • Untuk mengetahui dan memahami uji statistik dengan menggunakan ANOVA, terutama ANOVA 2 arah,
    • Untuk mengetahui persoalan dan masalah-masalah yang berkaitan dengan uji ANOVA 2 arah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
    • Agar dapat menyelesaikan persoalan uji ANOVA 2 arah dan menarik kesimpulan yang sesuai dengan persoalan yang diujikan.

Hilman Ahmad, PhD., an Independent Consultant in industrial oil and gas, member of the Society of Indonesian Petroleum Engineers, who manage the Industrial Oil & Gas Education Center for Professionals and has been practicing production operation & safety and corrosion control engineering in Indonesia for more than twenty-five years. He post-graduated from Tokyo Institute of technology (sponsored by UNESCO) in 1977. He joined in-field-practice program at Nippon Kokan Steel Company & Research Center Kawasaki, Japan for production facility design & construction and corrosion prevention & control in 1983, and collaborated with Cormon Industrial Research Center Brighton UK for on-line corrosion monitoring development in 2000.He has been delivering consultative course in production operation, maintenance & safety and corrosion control for personnel from Oil & Gas Company and Petrochemical Industry since 1979.

TRAINING INTRODUCTION :
Reliability improvement is the focus in industry today. This is to insure the available of the products/ services which comply the demands. Many programs are designed to improve maintenance and reliability, but, the achieved results are rarely sustaining. This indicates that change is a difficult process and without proper attention to organizational culture, long-term successful change is not possible.

This course defines the culture, especially the organizational cultures. It elaborates the elements of culture, i.e. values, role models, rites and rituals, and cultural infrastructure. Then the discussion on the elements of change are following, i.e. leadership, work process, structure, group learning, technology, communication, interrelationships, and rewards. These two types of elements form a matrix which is the basis of the web of cultural change.

A tool has been developed for assessing the organizational culture with the objective to identify the root causes of the un-sustainability of the maintenance and reliability improvements. Recommendations for correction action can be derived from the results of the assessment.

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Dr. Ir. Edy Suwondo is a lecturer at the Aerospace Engineering Department, Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB) and a member of the Aircraft Design, Operation and Maintenance Research Group, ITB. He has been working in the area of maintenance since 1992. His expertise is in Reliability Centered Maintenance, Reliability Control Program, Maintenance Planning and Life Cycle Costing. He has conducted various research in those area at GMF AeroAsia, Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM), Nusantara Turbine and Propulsion (PT NTP) and Indonesian Aerospace Company (IAe). He involves also in various projects in his research group. Mr. Edy Suwondo received his bachelor degree from the Aerospace Engineering ITB and his doctor degree from Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands. His doctor research was in the applications of Life Cycle Costing in maintenance area

Deskripsi Pelatihan
Piping and Pipeline Engineering: Design, Construction, Maintenance, Integrity, and Repair describes the fundamental steps to any successful piping and pipeline engineering project, whether it’s routine maintenance or a multi-million dollar project new. Explores the understanding of the qualitative details, calculations, and techniques are essential in supporting competent decisions. He pairs coverage of real-world practice with the technical principles that underlie the material, design, construction, inspection, testing, and maintenance.

Participants will understand the seven principles that will help establish a balance between production, cost, security and integrity of piping and piping systems.

Through this course participants learn about the coverage of codes and standards, design analysis, welding and inspection, corrosion mechanisms, fitness-for-service and failure analysis, and an overview of valve selection and application. It features the technical basis of piping and pipeline code design rules for normal operating conditions and occasional loads and addresses the basic principles of materials, design, fabrication, testing and corrosion, and its effect on the integrity of the system.

Tujuan Pelatihan
Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, peserta diharapkan:

  1. The Participant will gain an in-depth knowledge of pipe and fitting material specifications, manufacturing, fabrication process and their influence on mechanical properties of strength and toughness, to help in material selection and failure analysis
  2. Understand the technical background to the design formulas, and their application to the design of piping systems and pipelines. The course addresses rules of good practice in layout of piping systems for reliable operation

Pembicara / Fasilitator
Dr. Ir. Edy Suwondo
is a lecturer at the Aerospace Engineering Department, Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB) and a member of the Aircraft Design, Operation and Maintenance Research Group, ITB. He has been working in the area of maintenance since 1992. His expertise is in Reliability Centered Maintenance, Reliability Control Program, Maintenance Planning and Life Cycle Costing. He has conducted various research in those area at GMF AeroAsia, Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM), Nusantara Turbine and Propulsion (PT NTP) and Indonesian Aerospace Company (IAe). He involves also in various projects in his research group. Mr. Edy Suwondo received his bachelor degree from the Aerospace Engineering ITB and his doctor degree from Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands. His doctor research was in the applications of Life Cycle Costing in maintenance area.

TRAINING INTRODUCTION :
The advancement in technology has tremendously increased the efficiency, product quality and production capacity of production plants to meet the market demands and competitions. However, it also has increased the complexity of the equipments as well as the procedures and efforts to operate and maintain the equipments. Unawareness of this development leads to jeopardizing the increased efficiency and production capacity.

Current maintenance management in Indonesia shows that most of maintenance activities are breakdown repair, which is never efficient. Breakdown repairs also result in a loss of production capacity as well as a long downtime. An effective maintenance Planning and Scheduling will reduce the amount of breakdown repairs and shifting it to a higher proportion of preventive maintenance. Maintenance units without a good planning and scheduling will utilize only about 25% of the available time of the technician, while a good planning and scheduling will double this percentage by eliminating and reducing anticipated delays.

This course explain why and how to achieve the doubling of percentage of “wrench time”, the actual time where technicians conducting maintenance activities. The Planning Principles are the core of the improvement. The Basics of Planning describes the methods to develop a work order, identify the scope of the work, the required skills, parts and tools. Scheduling has also Principles and method that must be followed in order to reach the doubling. Furthermore, performance indicators will be discussed to measure and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance Planning and Scheduling. This course is closed with the method to manage the budget, resources and to implement predictive maintenance.

He received first degree (Ir.) in Engineering Physics in 1990 from Department of Engineering Physics, ITB and Doctor of Philosofy (PhD.) in Control Engineering in 2001 from Department of Engineering, The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.  He is Head of Intelligent Control and Automation Laboratory and Coordinator of PLC Research Group for research and training, Engineering Physics Study Program and Instrumentation and Control Research Division, Institut Teknologi Bandung. INTRODUCTION :
This course is to summarize the state of the art of Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) technology. It included the example problems to illustrate the use of various theoretical solutions, it also listed an overview of conventional well productivity and Inflow Performance Relationship (IPR) technology and is general introduction to the latest methods of production optimization using ESP technology.

This course compiled as aid to engineers and production people in the Petroleum Industry who have the responsibility of planning and selecting electrically driven submersible pumping equipment. Included are fundamental principles involving sizing, operation and trouble shooting of submersible pump equipment. Also included are tables, data and general information which it will be value to everyone who utilize s submersible pumping equipment.

Much material of this course has been published previously and is reassembled in this course. However, there is also a considerable amount of new material included that will assist the participants of the course in their pump selection and operation.

Designing a submersible pump installation is not an exact science; it is mostly an art. But it is a talent which can be easily acquired if care and attention are paid to what the well is telling us, and what we want to do with the well. The well conditions vary from one well to other, but the basic information required for a design does not. What we require from a particular well must, of course, be within the limits of the well in question.

Submersible pump design provided information required for analyzing the behavior of a productivity well interval using rod pump. This thus makes it possible to answer some fundamental questions:

  • What is the well producing capacity?
  • What fluids do they produce?
  • At what flow rates?
  • What is the submersible pump to use?

In this course, it has also included example problems to illustrate the use of various theoretical solution. Wherever possible, it has not only discussed practical difficulties that one may encounter while using the theoretical solutions, but it has also listed some of the method that one can used to obtain the desired information. It also included descriptions on field histories wherever they were available and trouble shooting using submersible pump.

This course is mainly directed to the practicing professionals who make engineering calculations and decision on submersible pump application and troubleshooting. For managers, the course helps to review the present state of the art. It also outlined some of new method in artificial technology exist today. These gaps in technology will be useful for research engineers and research professionals to determine the areas of future research.

HVAC merupakan singkatan dari Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. HVAC terkadang disebut sebagai kontrol iklim yang memegang peranan penting dalam desain media bangunan industri dan kantor besar seperti gedung pencakar langit, di mana kelembaban dan suhunya harus diatur dengan baik guna mempertahankan kondisi yang aman dan sehat didalamnya. Di daerah tertentu istilah “Building Services” juga digunakan, tetapi juga dapat mencakup pipa saluran air (plumbing) dan sistem listrik (electrical system). Pendingin kadang-kadang ditambahkan ke singkatan bidang sebagai HVAC & R atau HVACR, atau ventilasi HACR.

HVAC dijalankan berdasarkan pada prinsop termodinamik, mekanika fluida, dan transfer panas. Penemuan komponen-komponen sistem HVAC berubah-ubah sesuai dengan revolusi industri, dan metode baru modernisasi, efisiensi yang lebih tinggi, dan sistem kontrol secara continuity diperkenalkan oleh perusahaan dan penemu di seluruh dunia.

Ketiga fungsi HVAC ini saling berhubungan, karena mereka menentukan suhu dan kelembaban udara dalam sebuah gedung dan juga menyediakan kontrol asap, menjaga tekanan antar ruang, dan menyediakan udara segar bagi penempat. Dalam rancangan gedung modern, rancangan, instalasi dan sistem kontrol dari fungsi ini dijadikan menjadi sistem tunggal “HVAC”.

Desain HVAC memengaruhi tata letak ruang berkaitan dengan hal seperti posisi ruang penyangga udara (airlock) dan  pintu. Tata letak ruang memberikan efek pada kaskade perbedaan tekanan udara ruangan dan pengendalian kontaminasi silang. Pencegahan kontaminasi dan kontaminasi silang merupakan suatu pertimbangan desain yang esensial dari sistem Tata Udara. Mengingat aspek kritis ini, desain Sistem Tata Udara harus dipertimbangkan pada tahap desain konsep industri farmasi.

Struktur dasar sistem produksi terdiri dari sub-sub sistem perencanaan produk, pemroses informasi teknik, pemroses informasi manajemen, pengendali produksi, dan proses produksi. Perencanaan produk (product planning) berkaitan dengan pengambilan keputusan tentang produk yang akan dibuat, menyangkut jenis dan jumlahnya serta sifat khusus yang harus dimiliki produk. Agar jenis produk yang akan dibuat dapat ditentukan, maka sebelumnya harus dilakukan perkiraan akan kebutuhan, analisis pasar, keinginan konsumen, dan setelah itu dilakukan analisis tentang kemampuan modal dan teknologi perusahaan. Pengambilan keputusan pada tahap ini sangat penting bagi perusahaan karena akan berpengaruh besar pada pengambilan keputusan selanjutnya. Perencanaan proses produksi (process planning) adalah kegiatan melakukan perencanaan proses produksi bagi produk dengan berdasarkan pada faktor ekonomik, kualitas produk, dan efisiensi produk. Bila dianggap perlu pada disain produk dapat diubah untuk diperbaiki. Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Perencanaan dan Pengendalian Produksi (Production and Planning Control).

Hasan Surya have been researching in electrical engineering and becoming speaker for some conference. Ir. INTRODUCTION :
Gardu induk merupakan salah satu komponen sistem tenaga listrik yang memegang peranan penting dalam penyaluran energi dan pengaturan beban. Gardu induk merupakan pusat pengaturan, pusat pemulihan dari gangguan, pusat pencatatan besaran listrik, dan pusat penurunan atau kenaikan tegangan. Mengingat peran gardu induk tersebut, maka diperlukan suatu teknologi peralatan listrik dan teknologi pengendalian yang tepat. Kegagalan gardu induk dalam menjalankan fungsinya akan menyebabkan kegagalan penyalurkan energi listrik ke pelanggan. Dalam Training ini membahas tentang teknologi peralatan listrik, efisiensi pengoperasian, pengendalian gardu Induk, serta perawatan gardu induk.

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Ir. Endra Joelianto, Ph.D. is an expert in control engineering and industrial automation. His outstanding research is: Hybrid Control Systems, Discrete Event Control Systems, Petri Nets Analysis and Application on PLC, Robust and Advanced PID Controller and its implementation on PLC, DCS, Fieldbus, Industrial automation and Advanced Control System Designs. He received first degree (Ir.) in Engineering Physics in 1990 from Department of Engineering Physics, ITB and Doctor of Philosofy (PhD.) in Control Engineering in 2001 from Department of Engineering, The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.

He is Head of Intelligent Control and Automation Laboratory and Coordinator of PLC Research Group for research and training, Engineering Physics Study Program and Instrumentation and Control Research Division, Institut Teknologi Bandung. He was Director of Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung.  He has attended several professional training on PLC, DCS and Instruments Callibration, such as: Yokogawa DCS, Bandung (2000), Implementation of Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 19-17025 and Basic Calibration, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Bandung (2001), Fieldbus Foundation Technology, Singapore (2002), Basic and Advanced PLC Telemecanique-TWIDO, Bandung (2003), Basic and Advanced PLC OMRON, Jakarta (2004), Cleaner Production Application in Industries (Bandung 2005), Effective Energy Systems for Sustainable Development (Thailand 2006), Programming and Networking PLC Mitsubishi (2006), InTouch Wonderware, Wonderware Historian and Information Server (Bandung, 2012).

He also has hosted Workshop on Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2002) and (Bandung, 2003), Workshop on Application of PLC in Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2003), National Workshop on Instrumentation & Control (2011) and many professional trainings on PLC, DCS, SCADA, Human Machine Interface and Industrial Process Control and Automation in Bandung. He was the project leader of Department of National Education TPSDP Retooling Program Batch II on Industrial Automation using PLC (2004).

He is the chairman of National Student Competition on PLC Programming held regularly since 2007 in ITB. He serves as instructor either for public or for in-house training on instrumentation and process control to universities, industries, petrochemical or oil and gas companies, such as: PT. NGL Arun, PT. NGL Bontang, PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda, PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, PT. Pupuk Kujang, PT. Semen Padang, PT. Semen Gresik, PT. Semen Cibinong, PT. Indocement, PT.
