TRAINING INTRODUCTION:
Wireless technology has become the most exciting area in telecommunications and networking. The rapid growth of mobile telephone use, various satellite services, and now the wireless Internet and wireless LANs are generating tremendous changes in telecommunications and networking. This course presents the key topics in the field in the following general categories:

  1. Technology and architecture: The course presents a small collection of ingredients that serves to characterize and differentiate wireless communication and networking, including frequency band, signal encoding technique, error correction technique, and network architecture.
  2. Network type: The course covers the important types of wireless networks, including satellite, cellular, fixed wireless access, and wireless LANs.
  3. Design approaches: The course examines alternative design choices and assesses their relative merits.
  4. Applications: A number of key technologies and applications have been developed on top of wireless infrastructures, especially in wireless automation with PLC, SCADA and DCS.

There is an emphasis on both technology and on standards. The book provides a comprehensive guide to understanding specific wireless standards, such as those promulgated by lTD and IEEE 802, as well as standards developed by other organizations. This emphasis reflects the importance of such standards in defining the available products and future research directions in this field.

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Ir. Endra Joelianto, Ph.D. is an expert in control engineering and industrial automation. His outstanding research is: Hybrid Control Systems, Discrete Event Control Systems, Petri Nets Analysis and Application on PLC, Robust and Advanced PID Controller and its implementation on PLC, DCS, Fieldbus, Industrial automation and Advanced Control System Designs. He received first degree (Ir.) in Engineering Physics in 1990 from Department of Engineering Physics, ITB and Doctor of Philosofy (PhD.) in Control Engineering in 2001 from Department of Engineering, The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.  He is Head of Intelligent Control and Automation Laboratory and Coordinator of PLC Research Group for research and training, Engineering Physics Study Program and Instrumentation and Control Research Division, Institut Teknologi Bandung.

He was Director of Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung.  He has attended several professional training on PLC, DCS and Instruments Callibration, such as: Yokogawa DCS, Bandung (2000), Implementation of Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 19-17025 and Basic Calibration, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Bandung (2001), Fieldbus Foundation Technology, Singapore (2002), Basic and Advanced PLC Telemecanique-TWIDO, Bandung (2003), Basic and Advanced PLC OMRON, Jakarta (2004), Cleaner Production Application in Industries (Bandung 2005), Effective Energy Systems for Sustainable Development (Thailand 2006), Programming and Networking PLC Mitsubishi (2006), InTouch Wonderware, Wonderware Historian and Information Server (Bandung, 2012). He also has hosted Workshop on Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2002) and (Bandung, 2003), Workshop on Application of PLC in Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2003), National Workshop on Instrumentation & Control (2011) and many professional trainings on PLC, DCS, SCADA, Human Machine Interface and Industrial Process Control and Automation in Bandung.

He was the project leader of Department of National Education TPSDP Retooling Program Batch II on Industrial Automation using PLC (2004). He is the chairman of National Student Competition on PLC Programming held regularly since 2007 in ITB. He serves as instructor either for public or for in-house training on instrumentation and process control to universities, industries, petrochemical or oil and gas companies, such as: PT. Ir. Djoko Hadi Prajitno, MSME. was graduated from Mining Metallurgy Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and Material Engineering UNSW Australia. He is as expert in Metallurgy/materials engineer at Metallurgy Laboratory Pusat Teknologi Nuklir Bahan dan Radiometri (PTNBR) Badan tenaga nuklir nasional (BATAN) Bandung. He is also lecturer at University of Jenderal Achmad Yani Bandung and lecturer at ITENAS (Institut teknologi nasional) Bandung. In campus he teachs material engineering, corrosion, advanced material, coating and metallurgy. He has researched some topics related to his expertise such as

  1. Research and development metal alloy with zirconium matrix
  2. Research and development coating of metal alloy inconel with aluminate in collaboration with mining engineering ITB
  3. Production and development of compound alloy between nikel-aluminida metals in collaboration with mechanical engineering ITB

Ir. Deddy Nugraha is a dedicated experienced fulltime trainer and technical consultant since 2002. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from ITB, Bandung. Additionally, the course explains the ISA symbols used in boiler control, how to identify the engineering and control of boilers using ISA symbols, and a method of presenting the engineering design. Dr. Ade Haryanto, Ph.D. received the B.S. in Engineering Physics and M.S. degree in Instrumentation and Control from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and Doctor Degree (Dr.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Intelligent Control and Automation in 2010 and 2013, respectively, from School of Mechanical Engineering, Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea. TUJUAN :
Setelah pelatihan peserta diharapkan dapat memahami system pengkondisian udara pada kendaraan otomotif, dapat mengoprasikan, merawat dan memecahkan masalah-masalah AC, serta dapat memperbaiki system AC yang ramah lingkungan.

CAKUPAN MATERI TRAINING:

  1. Pendahuluan (Review perpindahan panas, pengaturan/control refrigerant, mekanisme pengikisan lapisan ozone, teori penipisan ozone).
  2. Teori Dasar Sistem AC Mobil ( Instalasi mekanik AC, Listrik dasar AC).
  3. Penggantian Refrigerant Baru (berbagai jenis refrigerant baru, nama-nama refrigerant, penamaan/tata nama refrigerant, refrigerant pengganti, efek rumah kaca).
  4. Modifikasi dari sistim AC lama ke system AC baru (Sistem AC R12 ke R134a)

    • Hose-hose tekanan tinggi dan rendah.

  8. Perawatan AC Mobil (Shedule maintenance, Preventive maintenance, Predictive maintenance).
  9. Troubleshooting AC mobil (saat memeriksa jumlah pengisian refrigerant, mengatasi kesulitan pada kondisi normal, refrigerant tidak cukup, aliran refrigerant tersumbat/ sulit bersirkulasi, adanya uap air pada system sirkulasi, udara masuk dalam sirkulasi , katup ekspansi terlalu membuka).
  10. Alat peraga : ( Board simulator AC mobil, alat ukur system Refrigerasi dan pengkondisian udara, alat alat peraga system pendingin).

TRAINING INTRODUCTION :
Pipeline Risk & Integrity Management is the most current and modern integrated management system to insure public and environmental safety for oil and gas pipeline transportation operation both onshore and offshore pipelines. It covers detail risk and integrity assessment, inspection, maintenance and repair plan. The pipeline management will also follows specific rules and procedures outlined by ISO 9000 quality system. To enhance the coverage, pipeline risk and integrity management is usually combined with geographical information system (GIS) and online security electronic system to monitor and control the pipeline right of way (ROW) more effectively. Data base management system is therefore a critical part for successful pipeline integrity management implementation. In this training course ANSI/ASME 31.8S and API 1160 as recommended practices and other related method and procedures, will be discussed.

He got his doctorate program from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA (1996). He is now also a lecturer at Graduate Study Program at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) teaching for risk and integrity assessment related courses. He has been interacting with oil and gas companies for more than 10 years for training, consultant and project implementation. This much experiences in oil and gas industries will be shared by him in training class. Dr. Ahmad Taufik has much work experiences joining in some institution such as at Lloyd’s Register as Operation Manager, at PT. MMS, PT. Surveyor Indonesia and PT. AT Solusi as consultant and trainer. And at present Dr. Ahmad Taufik is an Asset Integrity Specialist for PT Pertamina PHE-ONWJ (formerly BP West Java, Indonesia). He has performed in depth study in integrity research for pipeline, mechanical and pressurized system. He is member of ASM and ASME. He has wide interest including RBI, PIM, FTA, FMECA, RCA, RAM study and many other risk engineering areas. INSTRUKTUR TRAINING
Ir. A. M. Ulum A. Gani, M.Sc. ,who is graduated from Geofisika Tambang ITB Bandung, was born in Watan Soppeng, 18 December 1949, he is peneliti utama at Pusat Penelitian Geoteknologi Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI). 1990 – 1993 he was becoming head of  Laboratorium Eksplorasi Mineral, Balitbang Mineral, Puslitbang Geoteknologi, Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI), and 1993-1997 he was becoming head of Laboratorium Pemanfaatan Bitumen, Puslitbang Geoteknologi –LIPI Bandung. He is lecturer at Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Mineral Indonesia (STTMI) Bandung since 1991-now and becoming head of department at Teknik Pertambangan, Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Mineral Indonesia (STTMI) Bandung. He has performed many seminars related to his expertise.  Ir.A.M.Ulum A. Gani, M.Sc. has researched and published the results numerous number.
