TRAINING INTRODUCTION :
Pipeline Risk & Integrity Management is the most current and modern integrated management system to insure public and environmental safety for oil and gas pipeline transportation operation both onshore and offshore pipelines. It covers detail risk and integrity assessment, inspection, maintenance and repair plan. The pipeline management will also follows specific rules and procedures outlined by ISO 9000 quality system. To enhance the coverage, pipeline risk and integrity management is usually combined with geographical information system (GIS) and online security electronic system to monitor and control the pipeline right of way (ROW) more effectively. Data base management system is therefore a critical part for successful pipeline integrity management implementation. In this training course ANSI/ASME 31.8S and API 1160 as recommended practices and other related method and procedures, will be discussed.

Trainer
Dr. Ahmad Taufik,M.Eng. is Risk and Integrity Specialist, and Chairman for Indonesian Society for Reliability (ISR). He got his doctorate program from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA (1996). He is now also a lecturer at Graduate Study Program at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) teaching for risk and integrity assessment related courses. He has been interacting with oil and gas companies for more than 10 years for training, consultant and project implementation. This much experiences in oil and gas industries will be shared by him in training class. Dr. Ahmad Taufik has much work experiences joining in some institution such as at Lloyd’s Register as Operation Manager, at PT. MMS, PT. Surveyor Indonesia and PT. AT Solusi as consultant and trainer. And at present Dr. Ahmad Taufik is an Asset Integrity Specialist for PT Pertamina PHE-ONWJ (formerly BP West Java, Indonesia). He has performed in depth study in integrity research for pipeline, mechanical and pressurized system. He is member of ASM and ASME. He has wide interest including RBI, PIM, FTA, FMECA, RCA, RAM study and many other risk engineering areas. Dr. Ahmad Taufik has been chairman and speakers for many Oil and Gas International Conferences in Indonesia, (INDOPIPE, MAPREC), Malaysia (ASCOPE), Singapore and China (IPTEC) for the last five years. He has taught many training class on his expertise topics for many companies in Indonesia.

INSTRUKTUR TRAINING
Ir. A. M. Ulum A. Gani, M.Sc. ,who is graduated from Geofisika Tambang ITB Bandung, was born in Watan Soppeng, 18 December 1949, he is peneliti utama at Pusat Penelitian Geoteknologi Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI). 1990 – 1993 he was becoming head of  Laboratorium Eksplorasi Mineral, Balitbang Mineral, Puslitbang Geoteknologi, Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI), and 1993-1997 he was becoming head of Laboratorium Pemanfaatan Bitumen, Puslitbang Geoteknologi –LIPI Bandung. He is lecturer at Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Mineral Indonesia (STTMI) Bandung since 1991-now and becoming head of department at Teknik Pertambangan, Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Mineral Indonesia (STTMI) Bandung. He has performed many seminars related to his expertise.  Ir.A.M.Ulum A. Gani, M.Sc. has researched and published the results numerous number. At campus Sekolah Tinggi Teknolgi Mineral Indonesia (STTMI) Bandung he teachs for several subjects as follows Pengantar Teknologi Mineral, Bahan Galian Industri, Pembukaan Tambang bawah Tanah, Ventilasi Tambang, Seminar Tambang, and Kerja Praktek. INSTRUKTUR TRAINING
Ir. Akhmad Dimyati,MBA. was born December 12th 1954 in Bandung, He was graduated from Industrial engineering Institut Teknologi Bandung, ITB for his bachelor and from magister business administration ITB for his magister program. From 1982 – 2003 he worked at PT.INTI (persero) for some position, such as manager of production control, manager of quality audit, expert staff for development, manager of training and education/diklat, and unit head for small business development assistance. He was also as member of supervisory board for pension fund koperasi yayasan kesejahteraan pegawai at PT.INTI(persero). Since 1982 he has been as lecturer for university in Bandung at industrial engineering for bachelor and magister program.  Ir. Akhmad Dimyati, MBA. has followed many courses to improve his competencies. And now he is becoming trainer for industrial training for topics in his competencies, such as logistics management, project management, production management, Balanced Score Card, supply chain and warehousing management. Mr. Akhmad Dimyati has much real experiences and he also do consultation projects. With his complete knowledge and experiences he will share in his training class to participants.

Sistem Refrigerasi dan Tata Udara banyak digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan sangat bermanfaat bagi kebutuhan hidup manusia. Dalam aplikasi sistem refrigerasi, proses pembekuan makanan sangat bermanfaat dalam menjaga kesegaran dan keawetan makanan. Sedangkan dalam aplikasi sistem tata udara, pengkondisian udara dalam suatu ruangan berguna untuk mendapatkan kenyamanan bagi penghuni yang berada didalam ruangan juga untuk menjaga kualitas dari produk atau alat tertentu yang temperature dan kelembabannya harus mengikuti standar tertentu.

Refrigeran dalam sistem refrigerasi mempunyai peran yang sangat penting yaitu zat kerja utama yang digunakan untuk menyerap dan mengalirkan kalor dalam sistem refrigerasi. Refrigeran merupakan komponen terpenting siklus refrigerasi karena refrigeran yang menimbulkan efek pendinginan dan pemanasan pada mesin refrigerasi.Refrigeran yang sering digunakan pada industri-industri, gedung bertingkat, perkantoran, mal maupun rumah tangga yaitu refrigeran sintetik. Jenis refrigerant sintetik diantaranya Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), Hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) dan Hydroflurocarbon (HFC). Refrigeran jenis sintetis mempunyai banyak kelemahan, yaitu tidak ramah lingkungan seperti merusak lapisan ozon, menimbulkan pemanasan global dan memerlukan tenaga listrik yang cukup besar.

Kesepakatan internasional dalam Konvensi Wina, Protokol Monteral, undang-undang dan perarturan pemerintah Indonesia yaitu membahas tentang penurunan produksi dan konsumsi bahan-bahan kimia perusak ozon ( lima jenis CFC dan 3 jenis halon). CFC termasuk Ozone Depleting Substance (ODS), yaitu zat yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan ozon, maka mulai mencoba melakukan penghentian pemakaian ODS. Maka untuk menghapus refrigerant yang berjenis CFC di gunakan refrigerant alternative yang memiliki nilai Ozon Depleting Potential (ODP) nol, dan GWP yang dapat diabaikan yaitu hidrokarbon. Hidrokarbon sebagai refrigeran sudah dikenal masyarakat sejak 1920 di awal teknologi refrigerasi bersama fluida kerja natural lainnya seperti ammonia, dan karbon dioksida. Hidrokarbon memiliki beberapa kelebihan seperti ramah lingkungan, memberikan kinerja sistem refrigerasi yang lebih baik, keawetan umur kompresor, dan hemat energi.

Yang menjadi permasalahan adalah bagaimana mengganti refrigerant sintetik dengan refrigerant hidrokarkon. Salah satu jalan keluarnya adalah selain mengganti jenis refrigerant yang paling baru seperti R 32 yaitu dengan melakukan proses retrofit.

LATAR BELAKANG :
Pemahaman tentang pembakaran (combustion) dan operasional burner cukup pada sebuah industri akan memberikan manfaat yang besar di dalam pengoperasian boiler, fireheater dan tungku api yang menggunakan bahan bakar gas, minyak maupun batubara.

Walaupun burner hanyalah sebuah unit pendukung didalam pengoperasian sebuah pabrik,  tetapi permasalahan yang dapat ditimbulkannya akan berdampak sangat besar pada industri tersebut dan kerugian yang timbulpun akan cukup besar.

Pemakaian bahan bakar dapat diminimalisasi apabila operasi burner ada dalam kondisi optimal.  Permasalahan mengenai operasi burner  yang timbul di lapangan akan segera dapat diatasi dengan baik, apabila para insinyur atau supervisi senior di pabrik mengerti dengan betul, tentang pembakaran dan perilaku burner, baik dari sisis fundamental maupun teknikal.

Perawatan burner akan lebih efektif dan ekonomis, apabila prinsip-prinsip burner dipahami dengan baik, dengan pengetahuan ini modifikasi burner juga dapat dilakukan sendiri.

Maka dari itu, pelatihan ini akan sangat banyak  membantu dalam hal “transfer know how”, sehingga industri yang bersangkutan akan mempunyai tenega-tenaga insinyur maupun supervisi senior yang andal.

Dr. Ir. Yazid Bindar, M.Sc. menekuni bidang burner, pembakaran, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) dan perpindahan panas. Program Sarjana diselesaikan di Departemen Teknik Kimia, Institut Teknilogi Bandung (ITB) pada tahun 1985, sedangkan Program Master dan Doktor diselesaikan di Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Kanada yaitu pada bidang Combustion dan Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Selama mengikuti Program Doktoral tersebut, beliau berkesempatan untuk magang di pabrik baja Steelco, Kanada. This course deals with the entire range of flow related instruments (especially in legal metrology) and renders a systematic approach in measurement, calibration, typical errors in measurement and their estimation. Dr. Ade Haryanto, Ph.D. received the B.S. in Engineering Physics and M.S. degree in Instrumentation and Control from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and Doctor Degree (Dr.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Intelligent Control and Automation in 2010 and 2013, respectively, from School of Mechanical Engineering, Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea. His research focus is including modeling, identification, dynamics system, instrumentation and control of the power plant and its implementation using distributed control system. As a professional instructor, he has trained various topics in the scope of process control, automation, and metering systems, which were aimed to participants coming from industrial practitioners such as PT. TRAINING INTRODUCTION :
Oil and gas plants inherently emphasize the importance of planning for emergency and designing plant to minimize the occurrence of toxic release, or uncontrolled flammable gas into the surrounding and the environments. Hence, it is of critically important to understand the dispersion characteristics and to reduce the impact that may generate during plant operation. Accidents results from loss of containment of the gas from the process through various mechanism including leak, rupture, runway reactions, etc. The rate of discharge, quantity released, and dangerous concentrations levels are among important factors to determine. Therefore, to be able to model gas dispersion as a function of time and space, engineers must be able to : i) Identify  the release points, ii) develop a source model to describe how materials are released and the rate of  release, and iii) estimate the downwind concentration of toxic or flammable material using dispersions model. In this training, relevant DOW’s Chemical Exposure Index, ERPGs, OSHA (CFR 1910,119), NFPA, and NRC references will be consulted.

Dr. Ahmad Taufik,M.Eng. is Risk and Integrity Specialist, and  Chairman for Indonesian Society for Reliability (ISR). He got his doctorate program from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA (1996). This course covers the science and engineering of component materials used for oil and gas industry , the factors and mechanisms influencing their properties and their useful life as well as the methods to assure their quality during manufacturing and operation. He is as expert in Metallurgy/materials engineer at Metallurgy Laboratory Pusat Teknologi Nuklir Bahan dan Radiometri (PTNBR) Badan tenaga nuklir nasional (BATAN) Bandung. He is also lecturer at University of Jenderal Achmad Yani Bandung and lecturer at ITENAS (Institut teknologi nasional) Bandung. In campus he teachs material engineering, corrosion, advanced material, coating and metallurgy. He has researched some topics related to his expertise such as

PENDAHULUAN :
Pengujian sifat mekanik bahan merupakan disiplin ilmu yang fokus utamanya adalah mengetahui kemampuan bahan terhadap gaya dari luar atau beban (the response of metals to forces or load), sehingga dapat diketahui nilai batas kemampuannya dan  aman digunakan. Untuk dapat memahami lebih lengkap tentang pengujian sifat mekanik bahan diperlukan pengetahuan seperti:  kekuatan bahan (strength of materials), teorema elastisitas dan plastisitas, mesin disain , matematika, fisika, dll.

Pemahaman kekuatan bahan misalnya diasumsikan bahwa kekuatan bahan terfokus pada teori kekuatan, elastisitas dan plastisitas yang pada hakekatnya  asumsi tersebut hanya untuk bahan atau material yang homogen saja (tanpa melibatkan pengaruh temperatur misalnya). Hubungan sifat mekanik dan struktur mikro merupakan hal yang sangat penting dipahami, mengingat setiap perubahan struktur mikro akan berakibat pada perubahan sifat mekanik bahan, misalnya pengaruh temperatur tinggi akan menyebabkan sifat logam menjadi lunak dan sebaliknya pada temperatur rendah sifat logam akan menjadi getas. Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Pengujian Material Bersifat Merusak (Destuctive Test).

Oxy Acetylene Welding (Las Asetilin)

Las oxy-Acetyline adalah proses pengelasan secara manual, dimana permukaan yang akan disambung mengalami pemanasan sampai cair oleh nyala (flame) gas acetylin (yaitu pembakaran C2H2 dengan O2), dengan atau tanpa logam pengisi, dimana proses penyambung tanpa penekanan. Disamping untuk keperluan pengelasan atau penyambungan dapat juga dipakai sebagai : preheating, braze welding, cutting dan hard facing. Penggunaannya yang produksi, pekerjaan lapangan (field work), dan reparasi (repain & maintenance). Umumnya sangat baik untuk pengelasan baja karbon pelat tipis dan pipa berdinding tipis.

TUJUAN :
Peserta diharapkan dapat mengetahui dan memahami :

  1. Kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja pada pengelasan
  2. Prinsip dasar OAW
  3. Aplikasi OAW
  4. Desain sambungan dan posisi pengelasan
  5. Teknik pengelasan (leftward and right ward)
  6. Material, pemilihan elektroda dan pemeriksaan hasil lasan

Praktisi tingkat operator, tingkat penyelia atau perencana bidang pengelasan pada industry rekayasa.

TEORI :

  1. Kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja pada pengelasan
  2. Prinsip kerja las OAW
  3. Pembuatan oksigen dan acetilin
  4. Katup Oksigen dan Acetilin
  5. Safety regulation and accident prevention in gas welding and torch cutting
  6. Macam – macam nyala oksi acetilin
  7. Welding techniques (leftward and rightward)
  8. Jenis sambungan
  9. Cacat – cacat as
  10. Proses pemotongan (flame cutting)
  11. Posisi pengelasan sesuai standard (ISO dan ASME/AWS)
  12. Prosedur pengelasan
  13. Pemeriksaan dan pengujian hasil lasan

PRAKTEK :

  1. Fillet weld (sambungan T: 1F, 2F, 3F, 4F)
  2. Plate weld (sambungan pelat: 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G)
  3. Tube weld (sambungan pipa: 1G, 2G, 5G, 6G)
